I remember thinking how bad of a winger does this guy have to be for them to think he's a better CM?

Saw 2 or 3 Viola games this season and it's not an exaggeration to say his passing is comparable to Momo's while not being as monstrous of a DM.

I stand corrected.
Ofcourse he is no Momo (IMO these days Momo is more underrated then not), but yeah his ball skills isnt much, he is mainly an energetic runner, who has become more tactically schooled to a ballwinner down the years. And he does decent enough job at it. Wouldnt want him at Juve but he isnt terrible player or such.

Anyone else rather we not go for any central midfielders now Nainggolan doesn't appear to be joining?

I'd rather stick around with Pazienza and a nice pile of money saved (+ the amount we made in the Immobile deal) and let them evaluate options in the months up till the summer when everyone will inevitably be cheaper. If they want a decent left back then go for it.

it was a metafor i meant that we will take him for much less than his real value

I understand metaphors.

Cellino: sono stufo di ripeterlo, Radja Nainngolan rimane da noi fino a giugno

--

Cellino: I am tired of repeating it, Nainggolan will stay with us till June.
Ok then.let's see how it turns out, maybe we wont be looking for him in June anymore.

Even if only for depth we need to make a good move, someone who is supposed to be considerbly better the Pazi.
or at least a proven young player with potential.
but Padoin?hope it's BS.

Bouy :donedeal:

we signed him already according dutch media
I've read a few things about him. I haven't read anywhere that we've already signed him, but that he told Ajax he intends to accept Juve's offer.

Have you ever seen him play? I have to be honest and say it's the first time I've even heard the guy's name. Apparently he's pretty damn good for his age.

Forget all this junk and stick with what we have 'til then.
I wouldnt mind that, would see more of Marrone. If we are signing a CM, I want it to be someone really worth it, and not as expensive as Nainggolan, 15m is bit meh for him. Regardless of what everyone says, would prefer Guarin over him, but in general waiting for ze summer is ok. Maybe we can loan Pizarro just for backup, even if he cant replace Vidal and Marchi (Marrone and Giacch can though to a point), he still an extra option. Plus I been a little fanboy of his regista ways for years, even if he is over the hill, would neat to see him in bianconero.

why all the love for pizarro ?
we need someone more dynamic to replace marchisio vidal in my opinion
pirlo rarely gets out and if he gets on bench marrone would be a good sub
i don't see pizarro as a sub of neither marchisio or vidal
Honestly I don't see Marrone as a replacement for Pirlo. He is a lot more dynamic and closer to Marchisio in his movement and style of play. Though not identical, he is like a hybrid of Marchisio/Vidal from whatever I've seen of him. Pizarro is the Pirlo prototype, in Italy anyway, I don't think there's a closer fit than him. And the fact that we'll get him for next to nothing makes this a no brainer. Also, Padoin's versatility doesn't add much in this case as we are looking for someone with a specific skill set, and if nothing, I'd like to hold on to Pazienza. He's been underrated when called upon. Not to mention, underestimated ability wise. Padoin is a bad move and we shouldn't change for the sake of it.

I asked Ajax fans in XT, and they have no idea about him too, except ze minimum info of promising 18 in their youth team that is the captain there. But basically they havent heard his name until recent months, and not much to say when he hasnt made senior footie debute.
