Lugano would have been a no-brainer I agree. I think in the end, PSG offered him higher wages. Should have snapped him up earlier.

Seriously, it's been a decent summer, but Marotta will get 2/10 instead of 7 the moment he signs Gastaldello. It doesn't matter if Elia can dribble one defender more than Pepe or that Vidal can make five passes more than Melo if we're going to play with the same defence line that gave us 7th place. Lichtsteiner is the only addition, while Gastaldello will be a downgrade from Sorensen.
