Since it's 2 years its fine, but I kinda get Paratici vibes signing yet another mercenary on massive wages only to let him roll for free once the contract ends. We hardly ever seem to recoup anything on players that have actual resale value.

What's to recoup? We're not spending anything on him besides wages, and the idea with those is that they are in exchange for performances on the pitch. I get the feeling you don't see the difference between a free transfer and one that costs money.
This is far more Marotta style than Paratici, it's an opportunistic freebie with low risk and high potential reward.
Agree, but with our current finances we have to build a team that can reach top 4 in serie a, and get througt group stage in cl. Just as long as we are cleaning this mess. The only thing, I would change is sack allegri 2 months ago. Now its even too late for that.

Unnecessary? He is literally replacing the role Morata had in the squad. LF/CF. We need someone there as the only option besides Vlahovic is the woefully awful Moise Kean.
€5M (and 2M in bonuses) is a great deal for both parties imo.

I fuckin looooove this guy! Rediscovered him a few months ago. Just like with Everyday Normal Guy the first one was really good, and the sequel was a genuinely solid song with a much better beat
