To be fair to him, he was just down injured and had only just got up when the ball came to him. But yeah could have been terrible.

Superb goal though and he started the move as well.

I dont even know why its up for discussion. Do you think he could have scored with his finger? Not offside.

A side note, it was very refreshing to see a defender come into the box in open play and score a nice goal. He did it in the friendly game we had as well. I like that about benatia, he needs to play more so he can adjust and improve his defending as that back pass to buffon had everyones heart pumping.

He made a pass second half and just before the camera cut him off you could see him grimace on the follow through. Not a good sign to see him still have these problems, but I expect we'll redeem him and then see what happens the year after when Caldara is available.
