If we acquire Icardi we wont be getting Vlahovic. Juve dont have the money to get both of them. I prefer going all in for Vlahovic.
Its not a choice to get Icardi instead of Vlahovic. The management surely sees in Vlahovic what everyone else sees on him, he is amazing.

We likely can't afford him though, so we go for targets like Icardi, Kean, or Scamacca. There is also the fact of Fiorentina not wanting to sell him to us and they WILL have options. Its not a Chiesa situation with him.

We can also say to prefer to go all in for Haaland, doesn't matter though, because we can't afford him. The time to sign Vlahovic was last summer imo, and Fiorentina still refused offers. This is not a case where we can blame our management for missing out on a player.

Hope I'm wrong and that we sign him, I just can't see us dropping 70m on a striker while being broke.

That's also a misjudgment. We do tend to create chances in spurts against the minnows/lowly opposition, but our chance creation and conversion rates are abysmal against the big guns.
The matchups against the big boys are not our main problem. Dropping points against Venezia, Udinese, Empoli, etc. is.

Ronaldo also has been a poacher for years, yet he scored over 30 goals/season. We need a deadly striker and people should stop seeing one transfer as something in isolation. We'll improve other areas as well. But we have a zillion midfielders on our books for now.

Icunti hasn't been a deadly striker for years. I would like to think we still have a chance for Vlahovic, but we definitely need to improve the midfield - it's absolute garbage.

Not this season.

We are beating smaller teams as good as anyone in Serie A but we have dropped too many in direct encounters with our competition up top.

We create enough chances against smaller teams so that our woeful chance conversion doesn't hurt us, but against big teams we are punished for not being clinical.

Napoli, Milan, Inter, Atalanta we haven't beat any team of the top 4 this season.

It's not, pal. We only lost against Naples with all South Americans out of the squad... And Atalanta if you count them but we had 7 shots in that game, while Atalanta had 2.

I'm not saying Icardi is the guy but he's also not been the main striker since his inter days. It's hardly a certainty he's finished and I'd take it without obligation if Morata really wants out. Therefor keeping Vlahovic in play.

How are those arguments against it? Losing a game against Atalanta with all those shots on target is exactly the point, we weren't clinical against a big team and got punished. The thing about the south americans is irrelevant. We lost that game. Injures and suspensions come and go, Napoli and Milan are now playing without the Africans, etc.

We have won 0 matches against the 4 teams above us this season. Take away the games against the top 4 teams and you have a table of:

Inter 40
Milan 37
Napoli 33
Juve 32
Atalanta 31

We are out of CL spots because of direct encounters. We aren't conceding many goals in these matches, being clinical matters most in big matches were chances are scarce and we are failing there.

Exactly; which is why we need a finisher. We create chances.

Missing half of the squad because of an insanely awful scheduling of international games is nothing that comes and goes. It's a very unusual circumstance, at best.

We're out of the CL because we couldn't finish games we dominated for large periods. Eg. Udinese, Empoli, Venezia and yes probably the Milan game too. Not because we lost only 2 games against top teams, pal. Dropping points there is something unforgiveable but drawing inter or Milan is nothing to sniff at with our squad.

#PSG do not intend to accept the loan proposal for #Icardi. Leonardo said that if #Juventus really want the player they should buy him permanently or on a loan with obligation to buy. At the moment the bianconeri are not interested in this formula.
