Yes, but players know that Italy has high taxation, has for years, when they go to England it is a shock. I always remember how Arshavin flipped his lid when he thought he was going home with most of his £80,000 wages only to be told it was £40,000, then he asked for a pay rise :D In Russia it is more like 15%, or at least was.

Not completely unexpected, but I hope we don't get stuck with too many players. I'm still hoping for players like Zebina, Grosso and Tiago to leave.

Why don't they simply negotiate net wages?

I want 2m eur a year for myself and that's what interests me. Then the club counts how much it is in total when they add taxes and decide if they want me or not.
