For me the worst was the subs, he's really bad reading games. They all were really bad. He didn't take out the players whom were playing the worst (Pipa and Matuidi, too late sub in this case) and he didn't bring in the ones we really need (Ramsey and Costa). I'm pretty sure our attack with Ramsey, Costa, Paulo and CR7 would have been way better and create more than two-three attacks in 90 minutes

Stop with these ridiculous Dybala substitutions every single game, you..........With Berna on the field, we gave up.

Subbing berna for dybala was like dropping concrete in your players boots.
Being out witted by inzaghi(2 times) and now gatuso doesn't look great for his Juve career.

the pattern is repeating itself every game ....

- Start Rabiot instead of Matuidi. Matuidi contributes nothing in an attacking sense, in fact the opposite. This creates a huge disjoint between our midfield and attack.
- Don't play all our strikers together, it leaves us unbalanced (several games have shown that) and does not bring the best out of Dybala, who needs to be closer to goal.
- If Ramsey is fit (there has been no indication that he isn't) he should be AM. Not because he is performing to a high level, but because he can play the role of AM that Sarri wants better than Berna, Costa and Dybala.
- Play Dybala and Ronaldo as our first choice partnership. Higuain off the bench is a great way to bring intensity and directness when we need to chase a game.
- Have a bit of intensity.
- Don't completely abandon direct football and width.
- Not related to today's goals but bin the zonal marking. You can see we don't look comfortable at it (Bonucci and Ronaldo both let Milik get a header in and seemed confused over who was meant to pick him up).
- When you are 3-0 up at half time in a Coppa game at home, rest some guys before a tricky away game.

Even doing a handful of the above would help us dramatically.

This game reminds me of a man city Chelsea game last year, when pep praised sarri for his attacking football in the press conference ahead of their Etihad game.
So what does sarri do? Goes to Etihad playing attacking football and lose 6-0.
It could have been the same in this match if gatuso would have praised sarii for starting matuidi for his engine and for playing a narrow formation ahead of our game.

Napoli's defence was something truth be told. Prime Atletico-esque. Yes, our team barely showed up offensively, but they didn't leave us any space.

Feels like the league this season is at a much higher level.

Still... too many experimentations with the line ups and subs. Needs to fix this shit. Plus our gameplan needs some tweaking (do we have one?)

Perhaps those of us who saw worrying signs along with the positive results weren't entirely wrong, ya know. There's reasons to be optimistic and reasons to worry obviously. Of our 5 "tough" matches in the last 7 weeks, Lazio x2, Roma x2, Napoli x1. We lost 3 of them and were outscored 10-8. That's worrying, but not yet reason for too much doom and gloom given some good performances too.

Last season we had 59 points, 43 goals scored-12 conceded after 21 rounds.

This year we have 51 points, 40 goals scored-21 conceded after 21 rounds. And that's with bringing in Ramsey, Rabiot, De Ligt, Demiral to improve us this summer.

He needs to adapt his attacking tactics to incorporate some strengths of the players here that don't necessarily align with his Sarriball. And he needs to make us more solid at the back against better teams. We concede too easily.

They supposed to be tight, being tight is nothing special in my book. They were shit in attack, created basically one chance + Milik's header, e.g. they played up to their current capabilities. We were just abysmal.

I agree we came out with a weak team that were muscled. The trident was suppose to fix our boring style to some but its a horrible idea if you ask me. Sarri git it completely wrong today. Dybala away from goal isnt good. Ramsey or Costa for Higguain from the start and we would have been much better IMO. My point was we were to weak and putting more weak players might not fix it
