I realized that Sarri and his style is not made for Juve. The reason is that many team again us play 100% defense. Against Napoli or Chelsea the opposition plays more openly.
My idea is that we need a great foreign Coach . One who has played the game and has an idea what the best position fits each player. Coaches like Guardiola and Zidane.
Honestly I would go all in for Zizou. Sarri plays way to slow holding the ball to long in the back. You can play that type of football which I like but it has to be done much faster, what is totally lacking. 1. Our MF lakes quickness, is poor. to slow Pjanic is holding the ball to long and turn to much in a circle. Matuidi lacks technique and to much back passing.
Bentancur is the only one I would keep and maybe Ramsey the rest have to go. I love Pogba I still hope he could come but I do not see it happen. we need some like him who can dribble an opponent and give us an advantage, Now we only have Dybala. I would also like Kante here but cost a lot and Aouar or Zaniolo. The 2 together is not a good idea right now. Specially after spending a good amount of money for Kulusevski similar player.
Our attack is good but if they get the ball in difficult conditions like against Napoli ,it is hard to score.
And by the way for the Dybala enemies . He was better than Ronaldo and Costa against Napoli. He give CR7 a golden chance the only one of the whole game. Everybody miss penalties even Messi and Del Piero ( see him miss more than one) Look at Baggio ( one of Italy's greatest players) and Baresi . miss in the 1990 WC.

0 chance of Zidane leaving Madrid anytime soon.
Agreed, he also just went back. I can see Zizou here at some point, but in the current state we’re in I doubt he’d want to come

I don't think Sarri is doing great here but I also don't think coach is the issue. We just have weak positions.
It’s a combination of both. Yes, the players available might not fit his philosophy or are inferior quality, but as a coach you have to have a sense of adaptability, and anticipate or change things. It’s one of the characteristics that makes a great coach, to be able to get the most out of the players and adjust tactically.

That match, getting spanked by Inzaghi’s Lazio twice, and the two cup finals losses (both badly outplayed) have reinforced my opinion that Sarri just doesn’t fit at a club like Juventus.

Still, until he gets sacked, I hope he proves us all wrong and wins something.
Hope he wins the CL and scudetto and is then sacked (along with Paratici and half the team).

People are blaming Dybala? It wasn't even a bad penalty, just a superb save by Donnarumma.

Cobolli Gigli: 'Sarri's Juve unacceptable'
By Football Italia staff

Former Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli blasted coach Maurizio Sarri after the Coppa Italia defeat. ‘It’s unacceptable the team still doesn’t have an identity.’
The Bianconeri are one point clear at the top of the Serie A table, but lost the Italian Supercoppa to Lazio and Coppa Italia Final to Napoli.
“They had a good performance against Inter three months ago, but with both Milan and Napoli there was lots of possession and few shots on goal,” Cobolli Gigli told Radio Sportiva.
“What I complain about with Sarri, someone I really do not admire as a person, is that he said Juve lost the Final because Napoli took better penalties in the shoot-out. In my view, we lost because we weren’t determined enough.”
Cristiano Ronaldo has also seemingly lost his form in the absence of injured Gonzalo Higuain, as Sarri continues to tinker with his tactics.
“It’s unacceptable that Juventus still doesn’t have an identity. By signing Ronaldo, Juve gave up on team football in favour of focusing on a soloist. Max Allegri managed to make it work, but Sarri hasn’t.
“It takes a special coach to deal with star players and Sarri could get them to do what he wanted at Napoli, but he can’t do that with Ronaldo. If he manages to win Serie A and go all the way in the Champions League, then he can keep his job, otherwise it’s best to part ways as friends now.”

I see Gigli still suffers with dementia... why does that cunt even get any air time is beyond me. He's the last person who can start criticising the current management's decisions.

And?

Just because we did stupid deals back then doesn't mean he can't call out stupid deals now. Also - different times.
Irrespective of deals, gigli was responsible for some of the worst decisions this club has ever endured. He criticises the club for hiring a manager who hasn't found any identity with this team, sorry but what identity did any manager gigli hire find??

If he wasn't so stubborn we could try this formation.

Ronaldo - Dybala
Berna - Matuidi - Bentancur - Ramsey - Cuads
Rug - DeLigt - Bon
Woj

Berna used to play LWB at Fiorentina sometimes and he was surprisingly good at it.
I don't know when Chiellini will be fit, he would slot in seamlessly at LCB.

3-5-2 requires 3 midfielders. And we dont have 3 competent midfielders.

With the current players. We could play 4-4-2 or 4-1-4-1

not a fair comparison at all considering difference in club finances and general appeal
Juventus is Juventus, the prestige is always the same, coboli Gigli was one of the main catalysts of this club's embarrassing years post serie B. It's not the first time he's attacked this management as well and frankly he looks all the more stupid for his comments.

He recently criticised Pjanic calling him soft like mozzarella, sorry wasn't it Gigli that authorised the signings the likes of almiron and tiago who were utter shite, hardly any tougher themselves.

Now lets attack the management for hiring a manager who hasn't found identity, again what fucking identity did Gigli find in the managers he hired? he can suck on our 8 years of success under this current management and fuck off already. What is that idiot even doing with himself these days? fuck all nobody wants that senile fart in any organisation

The biggest wall of text can't change that one can call a stupid decision for what it is - a stupid decision.

If you weigh 150Kg and your neighbour weighs 150Kg as well, you can still call him a fat fuck. You being just as obese doesn't make him less fat.

Btw. A big part of the "8 years of success under this current management" is working for Inter now and you shit on him on a daily basis.

Well, I'm going to judge Sarri on this next game because he'll have to change something. If he shuffles the players and gets an improvement you can say he partly solved a problem. If he changes tactics and formation to get a positive result then that's also good on him.

If he plays the same team and tactics but gets no improvement then you know he's reached his limit. If he plays the same team and tactics for a lucky win and shit performance, he's reached his limit.
