:blah: :blah: :blah: Excuses, excuses!

He sounds like an incompetent imp politician from a 3rd world country - full of excuses and unable to do shit, so deflect and blame others.

Zero responsibility, Zero accountability! We should've never ever hired this cigarette butt of coaches in the first place.

I’ve woke up even more angry with this idiot than I was last night. I hope his position comes under intense pressure over the next few days. We shouldn’t be waiting to fail in Europe and Italy before we act. He’s had almost a full season to implement his ideas and the team have regressed since the start of the season let alone last season.

His management style, personality and mentality was a dreadful fit from day one, everyone saw that except for the 3 muppets that make the decisions. I hope they don’t allow their stubbornness to affect our achievements

They'll sack him. Reason? Ronaldo is slowly but surely turning on him.its question of time.
They won't sack him because that would prove they were delusional and completely wrong to hire such a loser with weak mentality. Also, they will say he needs time to settle in and for the team to accept his tactics, bla, bla... The second season will be his season, bla, bla...

Sadly this is our reality right now and for months to come.

It's Del Neri days all over again.

The question is who do we get if we sack him and will he imrpove the way this team is playing?

I mean sure, Sarri sucks, but we also lack hunger in the players. They all seem not motivated. Plus that midfield is useless. We need more reconstruction, not only the coach.

Obvious from the start this would be a failure, he just is not cut out to be a top coach, complete waste of a season, we are just lucky Lyon have not played months so we might have a slight chance to get through.

I hope the people at the top don't have too much pride to just bite the bullet and get rid of him at the end of the season

Imagine we get past Lyon only for Atalanta and Gaseprini to rape us in the QFs.

I see these two scenarios.

A) Barely winning the scudetto and Sarri stays for another season.
B) No trophies and a new coach for next season.

I prefer scenario A, but that would just delay the no-silverware season by one year.
People think there's shame in wanting your club to lose in short-term for a gain in long-term. Losing the Scudetto and crashing out in CL is by far the best thing that can happen to us right now. No doubt about it. Ofc not to Conte and Inter.

Not just because of Sarri, he's a minor fish in all this. But because of what you said in the end - "that would just delay the no-silverware season by one year".

This club right now is going down the path of Milan and Inter 6-7 years ago. Flashy, expensive, old squad. No real substance, no real plan. I'm not exaggerating and saying things in affect when I say I wouldn't keep more than 7-10 players from this team. Most of them for the bench.

“There is disappointment for the club, the lads and the fans, but at this moment we cannot do much more, because we are lacking sharpness,” Sarri told RAI Sport.

“We were missing a few players and had to make some different choices to usual, because our fitness levels are not optimal. We keep the ball well, but lack the sharpness to turn that into dangerous scoring opportunities.

We are struggling to get past opposition players when taking men on, we have a team built on individuals who can usually do that very well. I don’t think we’re lacking determination, because we were totally concentrated for 90 minutes and you can’t do that without determination.

“I think the problem is the characteristics, because these are players accustomed to taking men on and at the moment that’s just not coming off.”
The problems are evident, because Juve also drew 0-0 against 10-man Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final last week.

“It’s unusual, pretty much unique for us, but that just shows the lack of sharpness after such a long break.”

Cristiano Ronaldo was again disappointing and is one of those who Sarri perhaps expected to create something by running at opponents.

“He’s in the same shape as the others, like Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa, he is lacking the sharpness to do what works best for him,” continued Sarri.

“I didn’t say much to the players after the game. I was angry and disappointed just like them, so at these moments it’s best to stay silent. We’ll talk better tomorrow morning.”

Firing the coach alone isn't enough.

Fire this turd.

Dispose of Tootsie and Cyst.

Build an entirely new midfield, with Bentancur the center of your project.

Like I said in another thread, start from Kulu, Zaniolo, and Aouar.

I think this is a natural consequence after winning the league and Copa consecutively so many times. Players start to lose grit. That's why it's so incredibly important to change the squad more often than not, to give a new impulse and hunger.

It really is sad where we have gotten at this point because now we're stuck with this immense task of almost completely rebuilding an entire team. While being stuck with a lot of deadwood, which we cannot get rid of (and on high wages). It's going to be quite a challenge, but the first thing that needs to be done is to get rid of Sarri and get someone who can actually motivate the players and has tactical knowledge..

Who exactly would join us now? And the coaches we want won't leave their teams before this current season ends anyway. So we sign somebody like Zacheroni for the remaining games, fire him, then somebody like Inzaghi? Logistically it makes no sense.
