First time? This is the third time in a row where we’ve been beaten by an inferior team, who successfully neutralised us by defending deep and hitting us constantly on the counter. They realised if they cut off the space the trident has the work with, that we don’t have ANYTHING else to throw at teams.

And he totally fucked out starting lineup as well. His substitutions were even worse. It almost seemed as if his plan was to have us drop points against them all along. He was even happy about it at the end of the game lmao.
No man,
The other 2 times was more of a group failure.... But this time was all on sarri, starting with matuidi and ending it with the postmatch comment.

Its all on him this time

I get not liking Sarri, but the obsession regarding not conceding all the time for years on end was highly frustrating. That mentality is so 90's Italian and backwards. If the objective is to win every match regardless of performance, then who cares if it's a 1-0 win or a 2-1 win, just demonstrate you want to win.
Change was definitely needed but would you change to improve or go backwards?

You are correct on this one.

We have been playing good, even offensively, unlike last season.

The results have been positive, with some bad games indeed, but the intention to change is there.

I was not going to be able to endure another catenaccio season. No way in hell.

But plz plz drop matuidi ffs

Ive been on sarri bandwagon since the beginning but id be the first one here to admit that what he said post match is a disgrace.. wtf.. someone please remind him that if he wants to learn how to succeed in this club is to live on the value Boniperti taught us: "Winning is not important, it is the only thing that counts"

We have seen some good play a few matches recently, but overall I don't see much of a difference between last year in how we move the ball and move as a team in the final third. A lot of it is just lethargic and side to side passing like the last few years.

Well the media is reporting that the management is already looking for someone to replace him, not simply because of results or his football philosophy. But more about him being a bad fit in terms of culture and personality of the club.

PLEASE GIVE US POCCHETINO.

Cuadrado's cross to Higgy at the end was pretty nice. Almost won us a very undeserved point.

It's pretty obvious we don't work much on wide tactics, crossing and long balls, as our coach has said he doesn't like such tactics and prefers playing through the middle, ball at the feet.
conte, max and Sarri apparently never liked it. Only Costa can cross consistently with precision

We've scored 3 less goals, conceded 9 more, and have 8 less points than at the same point last season.... strange definition of good.

There is nothing in the media about him being replaced. Not even on the crapfests that are tribalfootball or random English tabloids. So let’s hold our horses.

His statement was silly, but firing him for it would be idiotic. We are on top of the league, have a good shot of progressing to the next CL round, and are in the final stages of the Coppa Italia.

If this season was to end trophyless, that would be another issue but we are not in a bad enough state to warrant axing him as things stand currently.

Agreed. We should wait for the season to end and evaluate then the situation.
