Bad move to let him go if true. He was coming off an injury and if we nurtured him back and waited for his recovery we should have used him to see his true potential in his second season. I just think this has more to do with Conte not wanting him than Marrotta cutting his losses, cos Isla is the kind of player who could potentially explode in the right setting. He wasn't given a fair shot at Juve IMO.

still means we need a rb/rwb to deputise Licht.

i was hoping we could do a deal giving isla back for their half of cuadrado, but i'll be even more disappointed if we end up selling back Isla only to bring in Zuniga, makes no sense what so ever tbh

i don't really see the point in this. We pursued the player for a reason, might as well give him another chance to show what he can do after a full preseason rather than sell his 50% back for half what they paid last summer to watch him go evetually to Inter.

Really disappointing to see him going. To inter no less. Those who doubt him are doubting a player who was injured all pre-season and really have no clue about the player.

Always thought he was a redundant purchase at the first place, and if we get a chance to sell him, we should.

I highly doubt that under Conte he will get his chance, even when Lich is not playing , Conte plays Padoin this is with a fully fit Isla waiting to impress.
He has no place in the team under Conte, and he should leave.
