How does that matter? Pirlo tackles also and intercept balls etc. You compared them in the stats that are Pirlos strength. And in the stats that are vidals strength you say u can't compare them??

The majority would have picked Vidal over Pirlo last season regardless of form for the simple reason that Vidal was vital to our counter attacking play from breaking up the opposition attack and thus turned defence into attack. Pirlo as much as I love him slowed us down and at time was a hinderance to our over all play. That alone makes Vidal more important than Pirlo last season. Ignore the tackling stats for all you like but that is also the most vital stat

Pirlo was much more important in the last season, you are nothing but biased personal fan of vidal, half of his goals came from the penalty spot, he wasn't able to score from 11 january to 2nd may, wow such impact, while Pirlo controlled our game from match to match

the regress in vidal's game in the 2nd part of the season is terrific, he was a shadow of himself with a lot performances to forget, while Pirlo has been playing on his average level with some brilliant perfomances
