Perin was one of the best keepers in the league in 20/21, he just hasn't had the opportunity to showcase those improvements in a larger role at Juve yet. I'm hoping he takes over for Tek soon. He's 30, that's really nothing for a goalie. No reason he couldn't be in his prime for the next couple of seasons, at minimum. He would be a good bridge for someone like Carnesecchi or whatever young keeper they buy in the near future. He's under contract for two more seasons.

Woj seems more frenetic with the ball at his feet, as he takes more risks and thinks he can play. We are awful playing out from the back so it feels rather unnecessary.

Tbh I've never rated Rui Patricio that highly, or been a huge fan of Portuguese goalkeepers in general (modern era).

as for the rest of the list it's nice to see how much (or how little) difference a goalie can make based on those numbers. imagine having carnesecchi instead of tek next season and don't experience any downsides for much less money. and a quick remark on musso: he was brilliant for udinese, watching him at atalanta feels like watching a different goalie, simply unexplicable

Hmmm… perhaps relief? Afterall he is being paid well enough to be a luxury spectator and avoid most of the backlash of this banter period.

He is a likeable guy and a decent enough GK but frankly just another of many inconsistent ones, simply not good enough when pressure digs in, perhaps complacency would be the best word to describe him as there is a reason why he accepts to be a backup for so many seasons as part of a failing team in what should be in fact his prime years.

I agree. Woj also tend to put people with his passes. He has zero situational awareness or reading of the game.

Wojtek is a bad goalkeeper with occasional glimspes of greatness.
If you play long enough YOU will always have these glimpses. The thing with him is that you can never be certain what Wojtek is in the goal:
- the ok one,
- the retarded one.

It puts a toll on the defence.
