It's amazing how many ACL relapses there are in football. Feels like way more than other sports. I'm always amazed that footballers come back way earlier than other athletes.

The NBA and NFL have the same technology or probably better and they are usually out a full year.

You see Perin tore it in April then January. Not enough time to recover. Same thing with Rossi, Milik.
it depends, some peeps are out a year and some are getting ready to get back on the pitch after 6 months in basketball as well, but pretty much every doctor publicly says that it's better to be sidelined for longer and build up your strength than to rush it, because 2nd ACL rupture happens to ~30% within 2 years of the first one

to me it seems that Italian footie is generally a bit behind when it comes to fitness and treatment of injuries, none of Serie A teams can compete physically with the likes of Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid, athletically they're in a whole different level and they seem to have a lot less problems with injuries than Juve or Roma

Marotta will meet with Preziosi on Tuesday to close the deal for Perin. There’s an agreement on the transfer fee (€15m including bonus), Juve are offering Genoa €10m + €5m bonus, Genoa wants €12m + €3m bonus. (Rai)

Must be therapeutic to keep citing a one-off game, with all it's nuances and details, as the reason our strategy is a failure.

Must be therapeutic to perceive any good player as impossible 'dream' while watching the board splash 7mil wages on Can and spend near 100mil without adding the slightest bit of starting quality

"Good player", yeah you're talking about someone who costs over €100m and has the wealthiest clubs in Europe looking at him. You only have to look at the balance of our spending to see what we can actually afford, we're 10th ranked in revenue.

Saying we haven't signed starting quality players is nonsense, not everyone has to be big money or needs 8 clubs chasing them to be worthy of Juventus. That €100m+ we spend (before sales) each summer has brought us Dybala, Alex Sandro, Mandzukic, Higuain, Pjanic, Szczesny, Benatia, Cuadrado, Matuidi, young talents like Bentancur, Caldara and Pjaca, and next season you can include Douglas Costa in the amount that has already been set aside.

Good game against Netherlands. But couldnt prevent the goal after Bonucci came on and sabotaged the backline and made Rugani look like a deer in headlights.

Too bad football isn't played 16v16

Also 100mil isn't all that much. It's literally Bernardeschi, Costa, Matudi. Two shitters and one overrated player
