He has them by the balls on this one. He only wants Juve, has an agreement with them, and they won’t want to lose him on a free next season.
I feel like typically we have a good relationship with them anyway.

Season is barely over and Beppe is already cock slapping the league.

This guy is still only 25

Will probably stay 2-3 years Max before another club makes an offer for him. Probably one that plays CL. I doubt he will stay to be second fiddle for the rest of his career. Let's be honest here. He will probably be sold for more than we bought him for :D

Even though I'm a big fan of Szczęsny's qualities, I don't think Perin doesn't have a chance to be our numero uno. He was a great prospect before the injuries happened and is still a very good keeper. It will be fun to see them compete for the first squad.

I think Perin will end up beating out Szczezny for the job. We have a long history of preferring Italian keepers. If young Gigio hadn't popped up last season, Perin would be all the talk now that Buffon has left. Before Donnarumma he was really rated by everyone. Seems like people have forgotten about him now though. Which is good for getting him on the low.

I haven't seen a single weakness in Szczesny with a Juve shirt. He looks amazing every time he plays. Tall, quick, holds anything that hits his hands and is surprisingly good with the ball.

Was easily better than Buffon this year, sad to say.

Superb, 10 mils for a potential starting GK is a daylight roberry :tuttosport:

€22-25m for Szczesny and Perin combined is just ludicrous in the modern game.

Eventually you'll see an odd lapse in concentration, but tbh they are far, far fewer since he came to Italy.

I agree. But it's just a feeling I have. Hopefully this competition brings out the absolute best in both, and may the best keeper win.

Let's not forget that we also got Neto for free two seasons ago and sold him. Haha.

Seriously though, we got teams out there paying over 40mln right and left and here we are getting very good players for 15mln.

if you take a look at goals he has conceded this season, he's let in some questionable goals

he was very solid overall, but then again the competition he faced was not Spurs or Real - basically the games that made people question Buffons quality

None of those are actually questionable 'though except maybe the wall positioning on second one could have been a bit more safe. But that's just a quality kick as well.

the second one is the same error Buffon made in the first game against Spurs, except it was Ciciretti not Eriksen kicking the ball and he was doing it 5-10 meters further back, Woj easily could've gotten that if he wasn't intent on going to the left.

both our keepers had quality seasons, but Woj let in a couple goals that Buffon would've been bashed to death for

Perin would definitely be a great addition, one of the best italian GK's out there, if not one of the better ones even in Europe when in form.

It's not at all the same. Buffon was beaten in his own corner. Here Benevento hit it around the wall...
