People can look at this in many ways. He is italian, lot of people laugh at this, but as he is italian, its more likely he will stay here long term (look at how this Alves thing ended up). Yeah, but so was Bonucci...but he was here 7 years, we signed Bonucci at age 23 and he didnt have a brilliant first season. We basically built and grew Bonucci into the player he became. Maybe we can also do that with De Sciglio. And 7 years is long time in football.

Although i would prefer another Sandro type of signing for that RB/RWB position. But now we are probably going to spend 20-30m on Manolas.

We lost some rugged handsomeness with Leo leaving, but Mattia "Boy Next Door" De Sciglio certainly will keep the sexy rating nice and high.

Everyone's gonna be surprised by de sciglio. There's a reason allegri wants him. He played his best under max. He's also always preformed with the national team. Milan has been a dumpster fire the past couple of years, I won't hold his performances against him. He did put in a great performance against us this season though. Maybe he just needs a bigger challenge and has checked out from Milan mentally.

He was fantastic against us in the Coppa final in 2016. I remember Allegri telling him he'd bring him Torino after the game

Interesting in a way. De Sciglio can be a decent utility player. He has played as both right and left back and can also play in central defence if needed. Perhaps the strategy is to let Lichsteiner go and bring in a more dynamic right back (such as Cancelo). So that we would have effectively: NEW RB, De Sciglio, Sandro, and Asamoah as full backs.

This kinda settles our team for the next season. I wonder if we'll go after a top mid or just play Khedira/Marchisio. What I mean is... I wonder if we'll even buy any mid if the best option out there is Matuidi.

If we get Manolas no way we're getting a top mid, eh there's no way we'd buy Manolas for anything less than 35mln at the moment.

Seems like we want to sell Cuadrado. If we cant sell him to Roma, i think there are other options. Was linked with Arsenal a week or so ago. I think there are still clubs who would take him tbh.
