Atalanta > Milan. I see this as an upgrade for him. And it’s not like you or other knew that he would get injured for a year or so.
of course i never know he will end up like this , but for me, I trust our management , others whining on their decisions day in day out ...

It seems they are wise now for Caldara

in short , trust our management descions ....

Also while we want all the talent, part of our strategy is to make deals for younger taalent that we use as bargaining chips a lot bc we are established and the rest of Serie a is trying to catch up. The same reason we have Demiral,MDL,Romero and Rugani right now. Two should ,ost likely be sold or used for negotiation purposes in the future. Hopefully the last 2

To say I was pissed when we swapped him with Bonucci would be an understatment.

But man, what a deal it turned to be for us. :D

Either Marotta and Paratici are geniuses or very lucky in many of these deals.

Caldara is still young though. He 25. Do you remember Bonucci at the age of 25?

i disagree. Swapping Caldara for Bonucci was always the right decision. The mistake was ever selling Leo in the first place.

So, to summarize,
between the Bonucci and Caldara signings,
Milan will have lost 13 million + De Sciglio.
We will gain 8 million + De Sciglio
Atalanta will gain 5 million.
No wonder one team is on top of the league, another is making the CL with a shoestring budget and third is fighting to stay in Serie A.

I hope Milan stay right where they are. Not relegated, not better, just right in that mediocre spot of holding some hope but lucky to get even a Europa League spot.

If they make Europa League, just more games for them to lose.
