de ligt isn't a terrible player. he's better than bremer in passing accuracy and most attacking stats. (bremer having played for allegriventus helps de ligt a bit lol)

but he's too error prone and very expensive. and he's in bad shape too often. the other day koeman just took him off at halftime to protect him lol
He needs Bonucci’s garlic feeding, basement screaming mental coach to set him straight

This is true, but if you already play for Bayern why would you need to be more in the picture by stepping down and playing for Man Utd?
Man utd are one of the biggest brand in international sport, more selling Jerseys, more viewers, The revenue stream is more higher than Bayern despite they are significantly behind of Bayern. De ligt can sit on the bench earn top wage despite being prone injury and mediocrity.

That's what I mean though, ita obviously more exposure but...why does he need it? That's something players see when they want to use EPL as a stepping stone but he was already at a top 3 club.

Which sane club would pay him an astronomical wage while most of time he is not able to play?!

He's diligently following in the footsteps of pogba, without the trophies though
he's a dutch champ, an italian champ and coppa winner and a bundesliga winner though, and still only 25

good point anyway, because of the the arrogance and stupid narratives he is actually comparable to pogba. love that he admittedly went to juve to learn how to defend (not for the 12m paycheck lol), and he left as the penalty maker handball master who's not comfortable with neither pirlo nor allegri tactics. he went to bayern to win the cl and play more attacking football, he left as an injury prone occasional starter after losing the domestic title bayern used to win for more than a decade. now the narrative has changed once again, it's about the visibility

Good shout, I forgot that he was here with sarri. They are alike because they both bought into the hype and have little respect for the game.

In England it's all about vibes. There's no real defenders in that league.

Who are the best central defenders in England? Saliba? van Dijk? John Stones? Not impressed with any of them.

I would much rather have Bremer.

They’re used to playing a high defensive line and they’re suited to that.

Bremer has been sitting deep for years under Jihadball hard to say how he’d fare in their shoes. I’d imagine Van Dijk would do very well in a deep set up now that he doesn’t have the same legs as he used to.
