@Alen has he given away 20 penalties since coming here. feels like he is player with most penalties given ever in juventus shirt
He has given away 8 penalties in 3 seasons. That's indeed quite a lot.

In the last 3 seasons, it's like this:
De Ligt 8 conceded penalties
Bonucci 5
Chiellini 3
Szczesny 3
Demiral 3
Rabiot 3
De Sciglio 2
Rugani 2

Could it be that he is like 22 which is like 4 years old for a center back? He's great and he has things he needs to improve, name some center backs that are as good as him at his age. Or that were.
I don't care about his potential.
Potential is not going to win you the league.
We are not some farmers who wait to grow players so they can find happiness elsewhere.
We payed 80 with 12 wages. We are not getting our bang for buck so he has to be moved on so we can get someone that is the same or better at a fraction of his cost (aka milenkovic, Bremer).

If we are supposed to win the league with mister 50-50 and mister brainfart every 2 - 3 games I can tell you now that's not going to happen anytime soon.
Sell him and invest his money in strengthening 2 positions. Just get Bremer/milenkovic and udogye with his 80 million, if we find anyone stupid enough to pay that.

We paid for what was supposed to be the Mbappe of defenders. Young but already world class. Not some 10 year project that maybe one day will be world class.
Sell him then complain here in a couple of years when he is dominating. He is already a very good defender who has made some bad mistakes which are down to inexperience. The least of our problems.

I personally don't have fetishes for former players so I doubt I would care where he is dominating.
You actually want to persist with mediocrity in case he turns wc, than improving or stagnating, at most at cb, while improving other position on the same funds.

Bruh, really? 3 years with Bonucci, Chiellini, Danilo, Sandro, Cuadrado were not enough? If his name was Matteo DeLigtini then he would have been bashed for 24/7 around here. It just seems that he never learn. He is doing the very same stupid ridiculous mistakes.

This goal is fully on him, fucking ridiculous positioning, the way he rushes for no reason, he forgot that he is supposed to man mark Lautaro here
Снимок экрана 2022-05-12 022921.jpg

and then he rushes again thinking that Lautaro will shoot but he has made a pause and De Ligt run straight into bonucci :sergio:
And he's doing it again and again.

Same stupid childish mistakes with positioning

And he even play worse in 3 man defensive line, how? I have no idea, from what i heard in Netherlands the whole u15 football is based on 343 formation

De Ligt is a good solid defender, not great. Still only 22 but definetely hasn’t lived up to the massive hype before his arrival.

He lacks concentration, as a Juve fan you just never get rid of that sense that he can F up at any given moment.

He’s the most expensive transfer and highest earner at the club, there are expectations which come with that. IMO he hasn’t lived up to it, yet.

People do need to remember that he is only 22.

This guy will be a star for years to come and will only get better. Yes he fucks up ( lately it seems like a lot) but I haven't lost faith in him.

I feel like a lot of the people complaining here (I know one for a fact) are also bashing our coach for not playing the youth more (e.g. Miretti). Good luck seeing a consistently strong performance from a 22-year old. De Ligt is further in his career than 99.9% of the footballers are/were at his age.

Yes, we are overpaying him for what he delivers and there is no way for us to renew his contract unless he takes a pay cut, but let's not question his ability. He has put in some very solid performances in our shirt (as well as some lesser ones obviously).

What if he doesn't renew? We're then left with a Dybala situation, where we sell him for less or he walks for free.

Until we get back to playing good football and being relevant in Europe, we're not going to be an attractive destination for players outside Serie A. Over the past three seasons, we've failed miserably in Europe, and we play atrocious football. We got eliminated by Lyon, Porto and Villareal, hardly giants of the game. Would you, as a player, consider coming to Juve, unless you are already plying your trade in Serie A and feeling comfortable here?

Why would they choose us over the likes of Real, Barca, PSG (money money money), City and Liverpool? Heck, why would they even choose us over shitcunts like United, or even Milan and Inter right now?
