Holy moly so many salty MU and Barca fans on social media. All this attention just shows how much they all wanted De Ligt in their clubs.
Signing a generational talent like him is amazing enough. The amount of delusion and butthurt from those fans makes this transfer all the more epic. They just can’t accept the fact that a player refused their advances. Dumbasses already talking about what he’ll do in three years. Like they have any fucking clue.

English fans are so salty about this deal, even if there was less than a 1% chance that he'd sign for an English club this summer.
The comment section on this guardian article is something else:
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...gt-joins-juventus-from-ajax-75m-deal#comments
BBC comments section just as good, if full of poor trolls:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49029025

There are quite a few reasonable people who can see past the end of their nose and outside their own bubble, but not many.

Holy crap. I just saw the De Ligt payment terms. We can totally buy another player. The payment is due in 5 years? wtf. We didn't pay 75M, we paid much less. Transfer inflation has averaged 17.5% over the last 6 seasons. If it even averages 1/2 that, it is the equivalent of paying 50M.
