De Ligt and De Jong are extremely mature for their age.. I have watched almost every Ajax match last season.. the post match interviews were minutes after the match, on the pitch, and not once did he say something that caused controversy or anger. Even after the trashing against Feyenoord.
He is a real professional. (That's why he is captain at that age) if you compare him to let's say Depay then he is ages ahead at being mature and professional. This guy is the real deal. I can see him surpass Virgil next season at being the best Dutch defender..
Between Matuidi, de Ligt, Ronaldo and Buffon we'll have a list of captains on the team besides Chiellini. Then theres also skinny legs of course, but for his sake Id rather not mention his time at meelan

I wouldn't say the same for De Jong. Didn't he say that playing against us was easier than against Madrid, despite the 4-1 thrashing? What an arrogant thing to say in a post match interview. At least do the respectable thing and give your opposition some credit where necessary.
