I have a mathmatics problem:

There is six players who is gonna play against each other. That means 15 matches. The result is either win or loose. What is the possibility that one player win all his/her matches?

The answer is about 63% but I don't know how to get there.

I have no idea how it could possibly be 63%..assuming the prob of someone winning a match is 0.5

how are the probabilities distributed?

i think it would be done using the 'choose' function (at least, that's what it's called on my graphics calc)

here is my workin:

15C6*(0.5*1)*(0.5*5)...divide by 100 = 62.56...or 63%

ah...the C button basically stand for choose.

i dont think it stands for the choose function. Not sure on a graphical calculator, but i could find out for u.

hey, id hate to have to do the stats wiv out the calculator...could do it, but weve been specifically tought how to use the calculator....besides u cant write 22318008 on ur abacus!!
