Indeed.

well i don't even know that since he never revealed his source of information, you can argue however much you like for him being a bullshitter but people only seem to remember when i got the zapata deal wrong some years ago and others remember only Diego and Vidal. In Curva's case i never kept a record of the things he said, according to some here he was the one who knew about Vidal and not wanting Inler
:howler: And the rest.

Haven't seen this guy play, so can't comment on him specifically.

However, it is interesting to see Juve taking a real interest in South American players and feeling they are in a strong enough position financially to spend a significant amount of cash on a player that can't be considered anything close to a sure thing at this stage in his career.

Milan bought T.Silva for 10m€ when he was 24 years and only had 4 appearances with the national team.
We bought BonBon for 15m€ when he was 23 years old, a Serie B defender with only 2 appearances with the Nazionale.
Bonucci had played a good season in Serie A with Bari. Wasn't really that big a gamble.

Silva was a risk that Milan took because he'd already been to Europe and things hadn't worked out.

Whenever I've watched Roma this Marquinhos kid never stood out. All their defence is terrible.
He took time to settle in, but has looked pretty interesting in the last month or so.

Clearly, it's pretty hard for a defender to look good in a Zeman team, but I think Marquinhos will be a good player for Roma when they have a sensible coach.

He gets paid to post transfer articles.
You sure about that?

:D

I don't hate Curva, I just think he's a dolt.
'Dolt' is a very fine insult.

No he doesn't. He gets paid to post transfer articles. He certainly has more knowledge of Juventus and his market operations that someone who lives in Bradford.

I genuinely don't understand your hate for Romeo. Just because I may post his news in a way its the gospel and you must believe it.
I also find Digby to be an arrogant, pompous dick at times, but you do realise that he lives in Torino and is a season ticket holder at Juventus. He also attends shitloads of training matches and press conferences.

Curva used to be very reliable, he got every juve move right days before any media reported thr story, Vucinic, Licht, Conte, Vidal, Giac, Pirlo...Was right about Aguero, broke the B.Alves news 2 days before Di MArzio.
but this was when he used to work for CalcioGP.

I find all this dick measuring between posters on who they rate as transfer gurus and who has the best info quite sad in all honesty.

This is why I hate mercato season. Can't wait for February 1st so most of this ridiculous talk ends.

Why would we buy him now and get him in Summer?
Well, that's a thing that some club have been doing with their youth signings, something like what PSG is doing with Lucas Moura, maybe we want for him to get some more time to play on the pitch at one of the best leagues in the world instead of being bench with us and come to a club in wich he didn't made preseason and also doesn't knows the style we play, neither the language or culture.

Marcelo was right, not you :D
Marcelo
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, should read this thread from this page on: http://forum.juventuz.org/threads/33210-Arturo-Vidal?p=3682517&viewfull=1#post3682517

And I keep getting amazed by Marcelo. Everything he said turned right  I mean, there were rumors about Juve signing Asamoah and Vidal, but out of all the 20+ players that were linked to Juve, he chose the two that we ended up signing, a whole month before we actually signed them. He says that Elia will be sold, and bang, we sell the boy. He said that Pepe is gay, and after that Pepe only played 20 minutes until today (7 months after Marcelo's statement) But the best was Isla. Marcelo says in 2011 that Vidal will convince Isla to sign for Juve, and in 2012 Juve signs Isla. Those are the only things he claimed. He also said back in May that Juve agreed a deal for a 15 years old Chilean kid, who will sign for us when he turns 18. I will literally shoot myself if we sign an 18 years old Chilean kid in 2015.

I must admit, I'm a little jelly that big Marcelo chose Badass and not me. But at least I can take comfort in the knowledge that it was an excellent choice. Thank God he didn't choose someone else. I doubt it would have worked out so well as it did with Badass. And no, you're wrong, Badass should also take credit for those transfers. This forum is ungrateful. To end this post, I have a feeling that with the winter mercato getting closer, Marcelo will share some new info with Badass. I just have this strong feeling that Marcelo will be back these days.
