Done deal?4.2mil and he's coming in June...that's what's on all the websites...
Hope this is true, I really like this kind of transfers. Hope he does great here.

Oh and those 4.2M must be just for Botafogo 40%, will we buy the other 60% from the bank and the investors?

Never seen this kid play. How is he?

He can he play as a LB/LWB as well? Can he play any of the 3 CB positions or just LCB?

Sounds interesting!

Coming in June? WTF? Are we signing yet another CB then? Is this Doria not the solution? I thought he was the ideal backup to next-in-line Caceres etc etc..?

Wait, we are getting him in June? :shifty:

We need a Giorgio replacement as soon as possible. I kinda like the idea to try this kind of a promising player there. Hope he comes in this mercato.

He's young and doesn't even speak Italian probably so not really the best replacement for Cheillo at the moment. When he comes in 6 months at least he can speak some Italian already if he starts learning now.

Sure, you can throw him in and he will grow, but expect mistakes.

Any player of that age and exceptional talent will be eased in, like Pogba. Defence is a high risk position.

In this Serie A he'd be ok for the few matches that Chiello would miss but I think Conte will go with Caceres, Licht or just go with the 4-3-3 before putting him in. Get him now, train with the club, stay with Rubinho, get a Playstation or Xbox, learn the language, don't go out and do what Conte wants you to do. :D

Possibly, but you'd like to think if that happens it wouldn't be long before he would come back.

For me there are different levels of young players, you can't put them in together. At the least you want to generate money to pay for the program, at best provide first team players. Any cheap kids or youth teamers who make the first team really are a big bonus, it's hard to at a big club. With a Pogba or Doria you are expecting them to become established over time.

Probably naive of me, but why not just sign youngsters that will make it on the first team? :D
