so allegri cost juve 40m+ by being eliminated from CL group stages. another 10m in tv money the season before getting eliminated in round of 16

another 10m+ in prize money and tv money getting eliminated in EL semi.

and another 50+m not making it into CL

but yeah guys UEFA is the problem here.
we lost hundreds of millions because of devaluation of the squad. we will sell players like vlahovic and chiesa(only ones that are eligible for top teams) for half of their potential price.

I can't stop thinking about how bad this decision is.

A coach that in 2 years has not been able to give the team any identity nor use the same formation twice.

A coach that said Tek can't speak Italian very well after he criticised our play.

A coach that said he couldve gone somewhere else if he wanted to win, he knew we wouldn't win (what a fucking weak statement) as if he did us a favour.

A coach that on the pitch has failed to even put together a title challenge in these two years regardless of point penalty and prior to point penalties.

A coach that has caused us to be embarrassed in the CL and against bottom feeder clubs in Serie A.

A coach that has obviously caused rifts in the locker room and is causing 90 percent of our players to look terrible. Not to mention comments almost calling calvo out which is so far from the Juventus style it's insane.

It's baffling and I ask if you are already bringing this baggage in from last season what is next season going to look like? I don't remember such disillusionment heading into an off season, it's only going to get worse.

I don't remember feeling this crap about the team even in Serie B, at least there was a fuck everyone attitude then now it's just us fucking ourselves.

Apparently Allegro has no effect on player development :shifty:
or squad rotations, usage of players out of position and planning with SDs.

Every year his squads were destroyed by incompetent directors who sold his best and most creative players and he had to "fix us" every year. He deserves a statue next to his Tapiro, for his unappreciated efforts here by the revisionists who dare to mix new data about his coaching abilities and wider context, to make sense of the past.

well put. that's the only point i can't agree with: there are stronger squads in serie a, i didn't expect us to challenge for the league title. still, the squad is massively underperforming, there are way too many negative results that can't be explained by the lack of quality or injuries

i'd also add that he already said that this juventus isn't built to win, which is technically accurate, but this statement doesn't belong to the general public and paints a terrible image. this has to be said behind closed doors.

the only thing allegri did actually right during this season is the public defense of the club. he was left alone by scanavino, ferrero and calvo (fuck, who are these people anyway), which is unacceptable. as a coach though, way, way off the mark set by his 1st stint or anything that you expect from a juventus coach.

i might keep watching juventus with him on the bench because i'm old and old habits rarely die. otherwise i don't expect anything from his team. the general passivity on the pitch, the bad physical and psychological condition of allegriventus, the lack of urgency (until we concede of course), the lack of balls on big games are completely unacceptable.

While I agree he handled the situation about as well as he could the evidence prior says enough about who he is as a manager and how we have no future with him.

“There are 4-5 contenders for the title and we are among them. We need to work in silence and improve the team from all points of view."

This was a quote at the start of the season, he conveniently changed his tune once we went to shit and pretended that this was all we could do.

I could see us not making Europe again next year if he is on the bench.

I, in a way, want to be Allegri:
  • not good at my job but get highly paid
  • blind trust from incompetent boss(es)
  • talk nonsense on a regular basis but bear no responsibility
  • feel free to shout, curse, put on a hideous face, tear off suits in public
  • bang pretty women
  • still have throaters

I can't see it. We should easily qualify for europe, as we would have this season, which was the shittiest one I've seen us play in a while.

That said, to qualify for europe shouldn't be the goal for Juve...

i wouldn't confuse communication clichés with honest sentences. one of the key takeaways of the prisma wiretaps was allegri's remarks on our bullshit mercato driven by plusvalenza. since that it is common knowledge that he was unhappy with the squad

anyway, we should be able to beat fucking monza's and maccabi's regardless, and those happened before the points penalty, so the team had literally zero excuses

I think we will freefall next season
Best case scenario: We're 8th by December, 11 points from 4th and having been eliminated from both the Coppa and Conference League after standard humiliating performances under the fossilized fuck. The board finally grow a pair, the fans riot, and Elkunt decides to take out his 3 inch pecker and finally fire the fraudulent fuck. We go on an imrpressive run and end up finishing 3rd after bringing in De Zerbi in mid season.

agreed, and we will lose all our most valuable/best players simultaneously. It’s going to be a brutal season…

The club should also stop blaming and complaining about external factors when we haven’t even got our own shop in order..
that's why they're offering whooping 84€ discount on season ticket compared to last summer price

I wonder who would be stupid enough to buy it. I’m sure someone will.

Btw how are the local fans reacting to all of this? I see no news about any protesting
well 2/3 of my friends that I used to hang out with since new stadium didn't renew last summer.
situation right now is depressing.
I will prolly renew anyway hoping for better times and keeping my spot
