But on the whole, we haven’t been winning. We finished 4th last year, and are in 3rd right now. That’s not what I’d call winning… :boh:
Sure, in general no. But with 7 wins in a row I see some potential for this season. We won few big derbies as well. Thats an improvement over last season in Serie A imo.

If Napoli loses tonight and we take points off them, we are back in the race. Crazy if you consider where we were few months ago.
That's why I don't know who to cheer for during Inter V Napoli.

I think we really don't have a chance at the Scudetto so a Napoli win will help us in our quest for a top 4 finish.

On the other hand we are Juve so should always fight until the end so with a taste of vomit in my mouth I should cheer for Inter to win.

When in doubt, hope for a draw. With a few red cards and a few more injuries.

Imagine we won the Scudetto winning like this.

It would be the most disgusting but sweetest Scudetto of them all.
The most unexpected scudetto. My top 3 titles:
1) 2001/02. Because we were trailing 10 pts behind inter during the winter. Because cheeky media labeled derby game between Roma and Inter as title decider in that period. Because we surpassed inter in the last round, who dropped from 1st to 3rd spot. Well 3rd spot usually means title for them, no?
2) 2015/16. At one point we hit the relegation places. The team looked disjointed, players unmotivated, beaten. Max was on his way out. But we picked up after defeat against Sassuolo and steamrolled opposition. We recorded something like 15-16 wins in a row. Almost as good feeling as in 2002.
3) 2011/12...

We aren't going to magically get better in the attacking phase. He's had a year and half to get that in order, has failed miserably, so this is how we're going to play because it's all we know how to do. There aren't even a string of matches you can point to where one can say wow, we really played well going forward. So folks are lying to themselves if you're hoping for something to change. We all know it won't and this is our football.

7 wins in a row accompanied with 7 clean sheets. Who tf cares for performances when we are on a mean winning streak? Its the 1st game after almost 2 months so people should chill.
Because it means absolutely nothing when you put it into perspective. We can laugh and joke all we want about Allegri's "greatness" at achieving these kind of cortomuso results but this wont hold up in the long term and certainly not when we come up against bigger clubs domestically or in Europe. It is literally the definition of hanging by the thread. If we want to see growth then the solution is firing him, not by bestowing more managerial power to him

We won several derby games before the break against inter and Lazio among others. I consider them rather big teams. When you put things into perspective we are on a 7 game winning streak with the best defensive record in a decade. Several of our key players will be returning soon. Things dont look so bleak to me. Id say bestowing him with more managerial power is exactly what we need. Forza Maxx, do your magic now.
