So he costs the club ~>70m in potential CL revenue for next season but Jj fans can't see more than 3ft in front of them
4th best defensive run in the 21st century mate. Doesn't matter where we are at in the table or where we are not at in Europe. Doesn't matter how shaky we look against the Monzas and Haifas and Salerentinas. This is clearly a legendary defense made up of Gatti and Bonucci
His influence in the defensive phase is hardly debatable. The numbers are hard to argue. Conceding 7 goals in the opening 15 rounds is the 4th best result in the 21st century, not for Juve, but in serie A overall. The best is Roma's 5 conceded goals in 2013/14, then Allegri's Juve in 15/16 and Capello's Roma in 2003/04 with 6, and then this year's Juve defense with 7.
Yes, various factors contributed to this result. Serie A's attacks are obviously weak, and this same Juve conceded plenty in the CL. Teams did miss a penalty and chances against us in the league. We are a defensive team, we are yet to play Napoli, the team with the best attack, and so on and so on. But you can't come up with the 4th best defensive result in the league in 22 years or so by sheer luck and by coincidence.
Absolutely you can.. this is exactly what is happening if you data is actually accurate. Its one data point plucked out of context.

You are trying to sell me that this Juve is one of the best defensive units in not only Juve but all Italian football history?

Where is the source that ranks these defensive records who is 5th? Zacheroni's Juve?

How does this years CL defensive record compare to previous?
Historic. Legendary stats.

No other Juve in all of history conceded 6 goals against Benfica, 3 against Macabi Haifa and 4 against PSG all in the same group. The last time this happened to any club was when players didnt have to wear shoes

Your tears are wonderful to see. Keep crying some more. In the meantime 6 wins out of 6, 0 goals conceded.

Given the recent results, going to give an unpopular opinion, but here it goes.
I dont care if we are winning Serie A, I could care less about other 9 consecutives titles.
We suck in Europe, we will suck with Max, I want him gone.

We're officially banter era Milan level if we're awarding medals for least goals conceded after 15 rounds in the last 22 years, thats some Galliani level coping mechanism. Obviously the defense isnt fixed if we concede 13 in 6 games in CL

I figured fanbois like s4tch and Vlad couldn't maintain the guise of being allegri-out; it was driving them insane. They've been itching for a silver lining for too long. Now they feel justified enough to go full throating again. Forget Maccabi Haifa and 1 win in 6 UCL games, none of that matters now. Muh 6 wins in the league #Trusttheproject #euromaxx4ever :lol3:
Sure, do I need to repeat that he either wins a trophy, or puts up a strong challenge until the end, since that is why he was brought here in the 1st place or he should get fired by the end of this season? Im sorry our optimism bothers you as much and the fact that some of us find more value in the games and kept enjoying watching the team even during difficult times. Yes, he should have been fired months ago, but he isnt. Suck it up and move on from personal quarels. It has been a good run of games lately, accompanied with good displays that we havent seen over the last few years, this consistently. Regardless, he needs to meet objectives come the end of season.

Curious. What are the objectives? And have they changed since the beginning of this current season?

And no CL football in FEB
Its a colossal failure, no two ways about. Not just elimination but being battered in the process. The positive signs are there since Macabi defeat though but whether we will further build onto it or come the January we revert to displays we have seen for most of his 2nd spell, remains to be seen. Im hoping for the former. If that makes me a throater, Im ok with that label.

I believe winning Scudetto is the main objective. Winning it or strong challenge until the end with deep EL run is good enough for him to remain. If not, move on and lets get some fresh face.

What I find amusing here is the daily back and forth about a situation that clearly will not change. Agnelli DGAF. Clearly, judging by the state of the club and decisions made over the past 5 years it ain't hard to tell.

6 straight wins? Sure. Beggars (Jj fans) cannot be choosers in such a self-created circumstances.
