Id understand criticism of Allegri for the terrible brand of football over the past 2 years accompanied with terrible results as well that culminated this season. Insulting members that clinge onto some hope after seeing positive signs lately, I really dont. You should chill a bit. If he wasnt sacked after Monza or Macabbi when we hit our lowest point, he aint gonna be sacked anytime soon. Accept it and move on. Personal attacks tell a lot more about you.

People who are clinging onto some hope just because we managed to put together a convincing performance against Empoli are deluding themselves I'm afraid. A win is a win yes, but this isn't an indication of a turnaround whatsoever. These kind of games were to be expected; we weren't gonna be on a losing streak forever, and a couple of good wins were gonna come at some point. But that doesn't mean all is forgiven and forgotten. It just serves to further highlight our inconsistency, and that Allegri is not the right manager to lead us in the long term.

And Conte is the solution for that?

I am not saying only conte but we have been linked strongly to him. But certainly there is need for coach who has a tactical system/structure for the team seeing our creativity issues and also good motivator with the psychological issues within the team.As we won't have much funds available next season it should rule out Conte or any top coach so most likely it will have to be one of upcoming coaches like Italiano or Tudor.

See a major improvement What does that even mean. A coach who needs to piss away 2.5 season to establish some sort of a system/team, is not a coach worth wasting more time on..

What about next time we have a bad period, will we just wait 1-2 years for him to correct it again?

It means we should play like the best team in Italy. This season is lost in terms of Scudetto but if for some miracle he gets the players to play with each other attack and defend well and look like the team that would've won the Scudetto should this be the performance from week 1 then yeah I`d forgive him.

If he does an Arteta (assuming it sticks) and we start playing consistently like a team that can win the title had it not been for a terrible start then it’s worth keeping him but that’s a big if and would certainly be a huge surprise. Evidence is that at best we can improve somewhat to sneak into top 4 and then we can start fresh with a proper coach and even that looks unlikely at the moment.

it’s extremely rare that a coach can be utter shit for a year and a half and shows no growth (he is not young) and it does stick. The probability that it sticks with Arteta is higher because he is young and learning on the job. Allegri is an old dog I’d be very surprised if this late in his career he learns a new philosophy
