It's scary how much our entire game plan and build-up play will depend on just two players in next couple of months: Cuadrado and Di Maria.

Huge burden right there.

I dare not to think about how bad he would be if he would saboutage us on purpose. Considering the last two seasons under his command the football has been serie q style whitch has bring us some trophies cause others have sucked more. Last season there was three teams above us, not because they had better players but because they had a coach who had respect to the game to try to evolve the play. Sacchi was great, propably Beckenbauer also but they were great like 30 years ago ( they may be great still, hard to say cause they do not coach anymore ) and allegri was ok 5-6 years ago. Mandzukic implement to lw was quite effective. It is sad that after that he really has not had any fresh ideas. Rumours that he want zerogrinta morata to play Mandzus role just make me sad.

I like this guy.

Same bullshit defence as last season. Playing loose around our box allowing shots/channels..That shit cost us some points last season.
For a so called dinosaur and defensive style he is not even getting that right.

Can’t see how Allegri is capable of achieving anything better than last season. He still looks as limited and the squad looks equally as limited as last season.

Key positions and players like Bonucci, Sandro, Danilo & Cuadrado are declining. We’ve lost Morata, De Ligt & Dybala from the first team and one of their replacements is now sidelined for months, the other is only here on a 12 month contract. I’m hoping there’s a lot more business to be done but I’m not getting the feeling it is…

The poor decisions all come from Agnelli and started when we moved brought in Ronaldo and moved Beppe on. The Paratici era will be still hurting us in 3 years time

Not impressed with him today.
One thing that was almost a certainty in his first tenure (at least first 3-4 years): we controlled most games. Can’t remember the last time we’ve done that in his second stint.
I have a bold thesis

If Max had a squad similar in quality to his first stint squad he would reproduce his first stint results

Of course with Beanie and Bonobo in charge we will never find out

But he's been given an absolutely crap mercato so far if we look at the incomings, outgoings and the injury of Pogba, its a small, tiny step forward at best.

Theres a shitload to be done for it to not be a 3/10 mercato for me
Sure, but both Milan and Inter have had underwhelming mercatos too. For us, Di Maria and Bremer are top acquisitions, and I expect at least another quality signing like Kostic. Pogba injured ok.. but we have a starter in Fagioli who has come off two very impressive performances against two top sides. But he needs to know he has the confidence of the coach, which I'm not sure he does, because he's "not experienced".

Anyway, I believe we should have an edge over these teams this season, and there should be no excuses for not winning the scudetto this time round.

People expect Allegri to make miracles.
Our 3 out 4 starting defensive backline is just jabroni level or mediocrity personified.

Danilo - mediocrity personified. Might get away against cannon fodder but anything above 7th position should expose him for the mediocre RB or LB that he is.
Bonucci - a has been who, not yet jabroni level that should have benn left at Milan.
Sandro - jabroni level player.

Cuadrado at RB - a mediocre defender without any tackling skills, defensive awerness and link up with other defenders. If bonbon is leading, lol, I can see why.
Good winger. A disgrace that he is still used as a RB.
Szczesny a roma level player on high wages.
I ain't gonna bother to say something about mds or Pelegrini.

With these players players I expect at least 40 goals conceded again.

Patching up the defense shout be between 150 to 200 million job to actually compete in the cl.
For seria a between 100 and 150 will do.

I used to be an Allegri optimist , but if our game play doesnt improve this season with his second season in charge how much is it due to the players. With all the player blaming , truth be told this team is no lesser than Milan/Inter , we should at least be challenging in serie A and at least round of 16 in CL the minimum on paper.
