I guess in order to look forward to something there has to be a reason to look forward to it, right? If I thought we would play better football and not be so regressive, I would be somewhat optimistic. But the fact we sold De Ligt, lost Chiellini, still stuck with Bonucci, and already have injury issues, I think we're going to be packing the defense again and relying solely on Di Maria to make it happen for us. So it's hard to be excited at this point.

I'll give it a few matches to be proven wrong but I don't need to remind everyone my stance here.
As long as we win  we can play hide and seek for 90 minutes for all I care.

We know how Allegri sees football. Don't expect any fireworks. Unless in dire need of one. For example, if we're down 0-2 after leg 1 against Atletico in QF, CL.

We'll manage consistency and run of results, because Allegri knows how to setup teams and control temperament. But need atleast 2 of Chiesa, Vlahovic and Di Maria fit and firing at a time to get results against the bigger clubs. Pogba fit and another consistent goal-scorer would help hedge the risk in case of injuries to the front 3.

I don't think winning the league is necessary a measurement of keeping or firing Max I think it's the manner in which we win or come in second.
Having said that nothing less than fight for first until the last day and quarter finals in CL will justify continuing.
The year after that expectations should go up.

What team with witch coach would not produce consistency and results with Chiesa, Vlahovic, Di Maria and Pogba? My assumption is Allegri with any players behind beforements. Has not keep himself with the train of football evolution.
3 of those are injured.

Jesus, it sounds horrible when its put that way

i will tell you exactly what is going to happen ok?

pogba missing games and also he will miss more games. so di maria won't play as a winger, but instead will play as a CM/advanced CM like he did for real madrid.

so cuadrado will have to play full time winger and kean also winger and rabiot too cuz allegri loves rabiot as winger.

so di maria will do well, but the wings will suck unless cuadrado stays fit all season. so our wing play is going to be really bad.

if allegri plays di maria as winger. our wing play wil be fine but lmao the midfield is going to get wrecked cuz they can't create or hold ball for more than 3 passes.

Nah, he'll just play Di Maria as a striker next to Dusan, just like he did with Chiesa.

Cuadrado - Zakaria (b2b) - Locatelli (regista-style) - Rabiot (winger)

Di Maria

Vlahovic

You forgot Bayern (ref fucked us), Barca (3-0), Monaco x2, Atletico, Tottenham. I’d include Porto too, because Pirlo’s side couldn’t beat them. And these are just the CL knockout games.
Also, are you so retarded that you think he’s sabotaging us on purpose. He won 11 trophies here ffs. At the time we took them for granted, but now we know how hard it is to win 9 league titles (5 of them under Allegri) and 4 Coppa Italia in a row.

I dare not to think about how bad he would be if he would saboutage us on purpose. Considering the last two seasons under his command the football has been serie q style whitch has bring us some trophies cause others have sucked more. Last season there was three teams above us, not because they had better players but because they had a coach who had respect to the game to try to evolve the play. Sacchi was great, propably Beckenbauer also but they were great like 30 years ago ( they may be great still, hard to say cause they do not coach anymore ) and allegri was ok 5-6 years ago. Mandzukic implement to lw was quite effective. It is sad that after that he really has not had any fresh ideas. Rumours that he want zerogrinta morata to play Mandzus role just make me sad.
