I remember it but here is my reasons why it wasn't worst for me:
- Building a team after calciopoli
- There were old players that I love and admire
- Teams above us have stronger squads
- Main reason is that in some how you still could see that flame, that professionalism, that passion players show everytime they were our jersey. I always feel proud to say that players usually give their best and peak in Juve because of that spirit. I know some players were really bad and somes don't even try that season 09/10, but in general my perception was that we were still Juve, with bad players but Juve. Now we are Arsenal, Farca in the 90's, current MANU. We don't fight, I can tell ref and everyone in FIGC are reaching new levels of mediocrity just to be against us, but that should just give us more reasons to go out and fight against everything. We finally lost our soul 100% in this season so that's what I think it was the worst season ever for me.
I do see hope, though.
We kept only three players (+ a 37 years old Del Piero) from that humiliating 2009-10 season into the scudetto winning 2011-12 season two years later. Those were Buffon, Marchisio and Chiellini. We then added some quality and workers in 2010-11, and gradually from 2011 to 2014 we completed the team, with, of course, the summer mercato of 2011 being of highest importance.
I can see at least three players of excellent quality and work-rate in this current Juve who can be of similar importance as Gigi, Marchisio and Chiellini in some near-future winning Juventus.

I'm suprised there are people still defending Allegri I'd like to hear why? What evidence is there to suggest that our terrible performances aren't his fault and that he will improve the team?

I'm not trying to be a dick I would genuinely just like some hope going into next season so if you can change my mind please do.
Chiesa by minutes played 13 games out of 51 available this season. By apps it was 18
Ronaldo left one game into the season and his replacement came after 24 rounds
Multiple trauma injuries, we played with 12 players for 3 months
Only one healthy winger all season, no LB and literally no creativity or width in the team
Same issues with 3 different coaches and gradually point loss year after year

None of these are excuses, but facts. You can interpret them how you want, you can say despite all of this Allegri is incapable and won't do any better with a better team. I would say you have no evidence to suggest that

Conte 'got us there' and made JJ a serial winner before Max took over and built on top of it. I am not quite sure that Max is capable of the 'Conte role' with motivation from the ground floor and building a functional team out of a dysfunctional one.

Regarding the other things you said, our roster is poor but it still underperformed heavily if you look at our results against midtable and small teams.

That being said I have no suggestions who to replace Max with so I'm leaning towards giving him a last chance with a team that has a midfield this time.
Didn’t he do this at Milan? Took over 70 point, 3rd place Milan, they made some shrewd signings and he improved them by 12 points, ending Inter’s run and winning Milan’s first scudetto in 7 years.

I have my worries about his abilities to turn this mess around too, but with some proper signings this summer his history suggests he should be able.

Allegri ball annoys the hell out of me but I hope with Chiesa, Di Maria and Pogba we could play a better brand of football. If it doesn't work then he will be out.

Allegri does not need to prove himself or his football brand... We had great football with him before and great results .. until we did a mistake signing Ronaldo instead of mid improvement

Lets hope next year will be the year to break those Milanese inflated heads first , then break our bad luck in CL before they ban us forever

ps: great football means effective Italian football or balanced football

There's no defence for Allegri this season. It was a complete failure as far as I'm concerned. We can only hope next season will be better
By definition we are all fools.
"Making the same thing over and over again but expecting different results"
Allegris last season before being fired was like this one, same brand of pussy play style like this year. Only better players and worse competitors allowed him to get the scudetto. This year's results say enough. Why are we expecting better results next year?!

From Max's mouth ....
He said, as quoted by Football Italia: “We already have five talented young players: Vlahovic, Locatelli, De Ligt, Chiesa, while Miretti had four good games. I think slowly they will improve.
“It’s natural that you need a mix of youth and experience, as it’s more difficult to win just with lots of young players. The veterans also help the younger players to grow and mature. We need balance when constructing the squad.”

Wow so Max has become a Miretti fan. Now what could Fagioli possibly have done if he got a few matches under his belt? Or possibly Gatti? You know what Sandro, MDS, Arthur, and Rabiot can't do, time to start looking for players who can do?

I shared the hope. However as you said we have 1 player in each line that reflex Juve’s spirit perfectly. Even when Del Piero wasn’t a starter, he was clearly our leader. Some of the new players help to multiple that energy.

As you said, I can see that fighting spirit in players like MDL, Chiesa, Mckennie, Danilo and Vlahovic so I have hopes for the future and that’s what I said next season is championship or street for Max. However that doesn’t hide the fact that in this season we are the best Arsenal clone

Exactly, better players can make a difference.
But all this talk is why the coach isn't making the difference, why his style of play isn't changing to try and make that difference.
He obviously has part of the responsibility for the rubbish football. Maybe with better players he can use more progressive tactics, idk we'll see.

I just know he isn't going anywhere soon so we can only hope for a good mercato leading to a great season

Looking at what Conte is getting out of Kulu and Benta it just shows that how much a coach with a game plan can get the best out of a player.

I haven't seen Allegri improving a single player under his belt in his last 4 seasons. While Pirlo the best out of Danilo, cuadrado and Chiesa.

Something is terribly wrong about him.
Lol you people need to make up your mind if Allegri wins because of individual quality or he smothers players' individual quality because it can't be both.

Revisionist history is strong here

Thats the problem.

Allegri is a coach who hides behind individual performances of good players. Next year maybe Vlaho, chiesa,Pogbum and delight could carry the team but it doesnt mean it is because the exellent work of the coach behind the scenes.

In summary, it doesnt matter who we bring, our gameplay will continue to be stale and negative in its core and i want to do emphasis on this and for people here to be clear that even if we improve by some margin, the one piloting the ship will continue to keep us in lower standards than our best capacity. Lets put this clear and please quote me on this.

Just look at Vlahovic case.
How was he before coming here and what happened to him after joining us.

Not only Max doesn't improve his players but also regressing them badly.

Same thing happened to Chiesa and Cuadrado this season.
