Forget comparisons to previous coaches.
This is the real story:
We started badly but then got many points like a title contender.
The problem is the way we played which doesnt suit a top club and I dont think there is a single member here who would argue about that.

We can let Allegri have another season due to results or we can say hey mister you got the points but the team is nowhere near competitive enough.

What I think will happen: Allegri will get another season and then if things dont improve he will get the sack.
What I think we should do: Yeah I do expect a turnaround both in performance and results. I do not blame him for not taking back the Scudetto BUT I do blame him for our performance and CL exit.
I know Villareal got passed Bayern as well but I still think we should beat a team like Villareal.

There is another problem though as who to get:
Conte - Conte has yet to make his mark in the CL so I doubt we would be going for him
Other Serie A coaches - I dont think there is a worthy coach (currently). There are some interesting names but I have yet to see results along with performances.
Rest of the world - Pep wont come (I dont want him either though), Klopp wont change Liverpool for us. There is Bayern`s coach who I expect to get the sack but is he really that good or did he just a one team wonder?
Emery - He is a good coach but Im not a fan of his.
Touchel - He wont leave Chelsea.

- Max was one of the best coach in the world in the past term
- We are playing really bad.
- This season is a failure.
- Our team has been kind of shit since Covid
- Beppe made a lot of mistakes at the end and Tici was a complete disaster
- We need to rebuild our team
- We have a long contract with Max

Let’s give Max a proper team and another year, at the end of next season, if he doesn’t fulfill any goal, let’s move on

Just stop. You and Rus’s entire existence on this thread is about nitpicking Post Ironic and other users comments without actually saying anything of substance. Of course losing Ronaldo was a big blow, even tough I didn’t realize how much of a loss he’d be at the time.

RUS has actually done a good job of providing objective stats-based arguments in order to highlight how the brunt of our season's shortcomings lies with Allegri's tactics, not the players, yet the most you can come up with is subjective, wishful-thinking hypotheses to justify his continued role as manager here based on his successes like 5 years ago. When he proves you wrong with evidence you just laugh it off as "shitposting" or "russian propaganda" to try and get under his skin.
As for me "nitpicking" PI's posts, I prefer to think of it as exposing his hypocrisy. You said a similar thing just a few days ago, and when I caught you out on it you didn't respond. Now you say we need to adjust our expectations, but in reality, you're just being inconsistent and are deliberately shifting the goalposts in an attempt to downplay Allegri's clear and blatant failures this year. Its denialism.

Aleg will get the maximum of two new players in his first squad. Do you think he is able to play better, get better results with those two players? He is done, his pattern is disastres, there is nothing better than at the start of the season. There is nothing to be better under him and that is concern. Even vlahovic is suddenly out of form.

This is for weeks now too, every single day arguing about a millionaire all day. It's so inconsequential, who gives a fuck? Because they have to "win" and change people's minds. No matter what, nothing can even possibly change until next season after transfers are made, so why argue like this the entire time between now and then?
