What do you believe then? What kind of supporter relishes in our failures and "has fun" winding up people with rightful concerns about our management? Sounds like something only a troll would do. Then you get angry when people misinterpret your messages. You certainly don’t help yourself with these kind of idiotic troll posts.

So back to the question, should Allegri stay on after this failure of a season, where you’d argue that Pirlo would have been fired? Or should both receive the same consequences for their equally poor and disappointing shortcomings? Be consistent with your reasoning.

We've been through this multiple times already on this very forum, but for the last time Allegri is not Pirlo. Top coaches like Max have earned time by showing the ability to build winning teams. That is the reason why Agnelli and co gave Max a four year contract while Pirlo only got a two year contract.

No one is arguing that our start to the season wasn't terrible or that consequently our final results aren't disappointing, but again if you don't see the progress we've been making as the season has progressed then it's difficult to have any sort of reasonable argument with you.

Exactly: Among many factors a key difference is we dont have the same quality transitioning forward and vice verca to defence as we did before with Max : our transitions is just not on the same level in terms of fluidity as i remember earlier under Allegri .

I might be overly nostalgic but it seems much more stale, predictable and sluggish these days. Question is if this comes down to coaching, Allegri losing the plot or overall squad quality and harmony: im leaning towards the latter.

There are many examples of us playing similar like we did against Sasss yesterday but coming up big in CL against Spurs, Barca, Bayern Etc.

If we want to get philosophical about it, Id say winning as much as possible in the long run (f e. in the context of a single season or if that season is a transitional one, even longer than that) is even more important than winning the next game.

F.e. if the team isnt used to it, playing out of the back or pressing high up the pitch are both inherently riskier options than sitting back and pinging long balls to a Pellissier type player, but both elements are essential to master for a top football team, you just have to have them in your arsenal and in the long run it will pay off. Its stupid to go 200mph every game, all game long, but you must know how to do it well.

its the same concept for introducing younger, physically superior players. I hardly see a difference in quality between Sandro or Pellegrini, but the upside of playing and developing Pellegrini is much higher, therefore much more important to winning in the long run.

Im hardly ever mad about missing chances and losing a game if Juve played like a team, played well and fought hard. I dont think Id be mad about a season without silverware like this one if there was a big picture behind it.

Exactly, we have no foundation for the next season and there is possibility that we will lose Chiellini, Dybala, Bernardeschi, Morata, Sandro, Pellegrini, Arthur, god knows who else, we'll have to buy new players instead and it will mean ANOTHER trasition year for Juventus, so to be prepared for it you have to lay the foundation for it. What foundation do we have now?

I understand your point but atm our best bet is to contain oppposition as current group has no tools for champagne football. Too many injuries and unmotivated players that are gonna leave once the season ends. I just want this season to end already as it brought a lot of frustrations.

If Allegris quote about not blowing up this team and bringing only 2-3 reinforcements is true, then that most likely also means not too many players leaving. Dybala and Berna are pretty much confirmed to be leaving, you probably can pick at most 2-3 others and that'll be it

Way more opponents press us now. Even small Italian teams. They press more frequently and way more effectively. It's just a shift in football culture since Max left. We haven't found a way to deal with it so far besides a long ball to Vlahovic.
