It really isn’t. He sucks ass in that role. Far worse than he is as a CDM/regista. He can’t run, has zero stamina. Has no idea what to do with the ball in attacking positions. Rubbish player.

In a 3-man mid with those three Locatelli is the far superior choice pushing up. Because he can actually score and create around the box.
