I guess to each his own but Id never place a bet on Juve. Its cheap, ruins experience, ruins the sport in the end whereas Id like to focus on an actual match at hand, not on silly bet or forum squabbles while we are at it (live match thread). In a lot of ways it goes against what sport is about, competition, battle of strength and witt.
One of the very first gambling rules is to never bet on a match that involves your favourite team.

The bolded part is very important and that's what you are missing. You need to evaluate what situations are dangerous and not only count situations that end in a shot. The models these guys use are much more descriptive of the game than a simple xG model that has some serious limitations. Or actually xG doesn't really have limitations but people often for one reason or another seem to misinterpret it.

Start at minute 8:04 even though it's basketball i think it really captures the limitations of stats and the importance of the trained eye

Imo just like you need a trained eye to watch and understand the games, the same way you need to have a trained eye to understand and extract knowledge from the raw stats. Often among sports fans it's just random stats thrown around without any context or thorough thought on why they are what they are and what do they really tell me if anything.

Erik ten Hag confirms: “Having a say in transfers is a condition for me. I make demands in advance before I arrive. If the club doesn't grand them, I won't take the job”

We are not guessing, you are. Evidence points towards this club doing transfers on their own. Even Allegris return and the message upon arrival spells it out for you, he will now wield more power in the transfermarkt, for better or worse. But during his first spell, it was the club:
-Conte left because of it
-Same people remained in charge
-Allegri never had a tantrum with a management, at Juve or Milan

Heck, he was called yes man for years here. So stop with your silly agenda and accept reality
To not storm out like Conte is not the equivalent of having no say. Relative to Conte he is flexible yes but that doesn't mean he has no influence or say.

You keep saying the evidence and messaging is clear, where? I see a coach who was here for a long time and was clearly very happy and returned at the first opportunity. I know others have and you clearly think he is (to protect him ironically) but I never called him a yes man.

So because you cant see it means what you say is true. I posted you the evidence there, read the post again. Also not having a say in transfers =/= not happy with the job. Youre just draging out a dead debate at this point

Dude you didn't say what the evidence is. We were not poor or having a sell off.

We were buying Pjanic, Mandzukic, Higuan, Khedira types and getting increasingly richer as a club.

The narrative of management gutting his team or that he had no say in the transfers just doesn't hold. Anything to absolve him of bad seasons and pin it on Beppe or Tici I suppose. It's always the players never Allegri.

I can connect the dot with Pjanic, Mandzukic , Higuain, Khedira . All players are established top players the favourite type players for Allegri
and all left with no resale value (at least that is what happen to all of them). With Pjanic we got some nice dealing $$ under the table with Barca for their garbage too because we both need to put a profit in our books respectively (in my view we bought Arthur for 12m + Pjanic as easy to say about the money move around in this dealing)

He’s worse than RUS. Embarrassing poster. Long list of idiotic things he’s said. And was one of the forum’s prime Sarri > Allegri mopes lol. Best was his Turin is a shithole compared to top European cities like London, Paris, Manchester, Liverpool. :lol2:

He’s pretending that Allegri said “sure, sell all my top players in 2015 and 2016 windows and replace them with mostly lesser players.” Lol

I’m sure Allegri was psyched about switching Vidal and Pogba for Khedira and Pjanic. And replacing Pirlo with Hernanes. Lol

Nevermind that he’s said multiple times during his first stint that he has nothing to do with transfers. Quotes like this one:

“I won’t talk about transfers, because that is down to the club. As long as players are at Juventus, they have to be at the disposal of the Coach.”

And that the guy responsible for the current sorry ass state of the squad, Paratici, whose refusal to fix the midfield at Allegri’s request, instead going on his mini-galacticos attempt which failed spectacularly, got Allegri sacked in favour of Sarri, and was then sacked himself in order to bring Allegri back. But I guess that means it was all harmonious and Allegri was in favour of all the moves.

Imagine believing management didn’t gut the 2014-15 squad

It was a minor miracle Allegri managed to take a completely new squad, that had changed every single outfield starter but the two CBs in 2 mercatos, to another CL final two years later.

He assumed from the get go im here just to defend Allegri, so he just argued against for the sake of it. Arguing against things that can so easily be proven, but i really cant be bothered to. So i gave him hints but he doesnt want to take them. So he will come back with another personal biased opinion instead of looking at the objective truth

Remember his comments of his preferred formation when he arrived 1st, 43something. First 4 seasons he had 4 different go to formations, losing atleast 3 of his most used players (usually mids) each of his first 3 summers. But sure, he was sitting there during mercatos telling Marotta who to sell and who to buy

Imagine the analytical levels of people who pulls a random Allegri quote out their ass and calls something an undeniable fact and evidence  That comment about him not dealing with transfers is a typical response to stop journos asking him about random rumours
I was also told by the same type of poster, that we cant take Allegris comments seriously, as he is clearly just working the media

It even goes completely against any logic, that during Allegris tenure here, he didnt sit down with our sporting directors to discuss which players must stay at all costs and which players and type of players are of interest. And if that was the case, why would he be the one getting streeted and then decide to come back, if our club was so stupid and rotten and being the 1st club in the world who doesnt involve their coach in transfer activity.

Sometimes when your job is to defend Allegri, you gotta take a step back and look at what you post before you click the button. It cant be too ridiculous or we simply wont believe it.
