Yes. Absolutely. That was then. This is now, however. How many years back would you like me to go? :D

Only Ancelotti is tier 1 (probably not anymore though). Allegri is a level below the top coaches and Cunte is probably at the lower end of Tier 2.
Allegri isn't tier 1? Why? The guy refused Real last year. He coaches the weakest Juve in 11 years.
Granted some results could have been better, but still.
Also the same can be said about any nation. Tier 1 Coaches are few in between.
Would you call guardiola tier 1 after spending a billion without winning the CL?

And what philosophy is that? Allegri, Sarri and Pirlo all have different philosophies compared to each other.
A winning one :p

I keed. I just want some sort of balance between quality football and pragmatism. Allegri, as a coach, has some serious limitations, but let's see what happens next year. I am grateful for his first stint here, but should we fail to seriously mount a title challenge next season and reach the QFs of the CL, I am afraid our Allegri Redux Adventure must come to an end.

Ancelotti and Allegri.

Ancelotti may have looked washed up before this season and Allegri may be having a poor season, by his standards… but both are tier 1 coaches.
I think Allegri is also a victim of his own success as we tend to judge him based on his previous accomplishments and this seem to skew our image of the overall situation that Juve as a team is in. (in need of investment and personel replacement).

I don't consider any coach that has failed to win the CL a Tier 1 coach, but that's just me. If we're talking Italian coaches of the past, then Lippi, Trap and the shitcunts Capello and Sacchi deserve to be in the Tier 1 category.
