Let's just pass on the fact our best attacking player from last season got injured for 6-9 months together with a few months out for our best midfielder and defender from last season and blame Allegri because... stats. :D
context rarely matters with the stats guys. stats are the bottom line, not titles.

2017/18: 2 domestic titles, incredibly unlucky cl elimination. best season by a mile out of those 5 seasons rus quoted, and it's not even close. but but but xg :sergio:

Incredibly unlucky? Maybe you shouldn't park the bus at home against Madrid? Maybe it's time to stop playing like a pussy and try to implement attacking football? But he can't and he won't.
Double wing Asamoah - Sandro  Cuadrado, Marchisio, Mandzukic on the bench :tuttosport: Allegriball :touched:

We need some context regarding the fitness levels of especially Mandzukic since he basically always started.

It was a horrible game I remember, but dry line ups show only half the truth.

I don't have an opinion on whether understat or other sites are better for xG, but we don't really need it to see that our attacking output is lacking. We also don't need to go 5 years back and evaluate whether Allegri was good at building an attack back then. Fact is we have scored 50 goals this season which puts us 10th in Serie A in goals scored. obviously something is seriously wrong in this department, we should not be scoring so little with the players we have.

imo Allegri's approach of giving the players freedom in the final third doesn't pay off here, we don't have intelligent, creative players who are suffering from having to work within a system, we have the exact opposite type of players. Dybala may be crafty, but he's a selfish asshole most of the time and also not that good a passer. Cuadrado is creative, but if he's the plan A, B and C, it's not that hard to defend against him. when Kulusevski went to Tottenham all freedom was taken away from him and he contributes a lot more.

dybala's undeserved red card? we missed pjanic due to suspension? fitness level of certain players? last minute, extremely dubious penalty during the 2nd leg?

as i said, context rarely matters for the stat boiz. and he proves my point with every single post.

1) It was 0-2 already
2) Marchisio, Matuidi were available, alongside with Cuadrado and Mandzukic
3) it's up to coach to keep his team in shape
4) the fact that Juventus was able to score 3 goals at the Bernabéu suggests that they could have played much better at home, that's what I was talking about but Allegri went with Asamoah - Sandro in 442 formation :sergio:

@Juventino[RUS] Maybe I missed it in one of your 1000s senseless anti-Allegri posts, but I'm curious who are your realistic option to take over as a manager if Allegri leaves?
Zidane, Tudor, Italiano, De Zerbi.
Just don't tell me that it's a gambling to hire last 3 - hiring Conte was a gambling, hiring Allegri was a gambling, firing Sarri without plan B and hiring Pirlo was a gambling, this is how football works. I want to see attack minded coach that can get the best out of the players that Juventus has.

Yep. I remember the days of Conte teams struggling to score goals against (and defeat) Danish teams. We played like biggest pussies in the CL with Conte at the helm - and with a much better team than we have now.
they both have one thing in common - stubbornness.

You forgot the foul on Cuads which should've been a penalty on the end of the first leg.

Sure, we are Juventus, not Livorno. and 2nd leg has proved my point. Pussy mentality needs to die.
Except it didn't, it's just a basic football rule and it happens every week all over the planet to drop back when in the lead (even Real). We didn't go out and defend in the first leg at all either.

It was a fucking mistake to play Asamoah - Sandro in 442 formation, why the ufck you keep on telling me that we didn't defend? Allegri has used a super defensive tactics to avoid getting scored a lot and he paid for it, week after when Juventus had nothing to lose they were able to destroy "3 times winner" real madrid at bernabeu 3-0, until Oliver didn't become a prima and gifted penalty to Real

Allegri would have forced Cruyff, R9, Platini, Pele to sit at the back. He will never change.
