Some Juve related excerpts:

Juventus or not Juventus, would your break this year have ended anyway? Would you have returned to training 100 percent?

Yes, it was the right time. I was stopped a lot, I would have gone back to coaching anyway, I could have done it sooner but then personal and family matters also took over. In 2018 my mother passed away, so in 2019 I didn't want to stray too far, and I took the opportunity to be close to Giorgio, my youngest son, the older one now lives in Milan and is independent; my father is in Livorno and has suffered greatly from my mother's absence. The decision to return to Juventus, in addition to being linked to the property and the club, is also the result of the desire to be next to my son, who lives in Turin with his mother. I am one who likes to have all the affections close to me.

But there is a lot of talk about Allegri who in the end never went abroad, in the big European clubs.

I said it and I repeat it: this year I had already signed an agreement with Real Madrid . Then in the morning I called the president and told him that I would not go because I had chosen Juventus. He thanked me.

Have you had any doubts?

No, since Juventus called me in May I have had no doubts.

Of course, coaching Real Madrid ...

On a professional level it would have been the culmination of a path, of course: Milan, Juve, Real. But in life you can't always have everything and I'm really happy and proud to have coached Milan for four years and now to be sixth in a club like Juventus. At Real I said no twice. The first was while I was being renewed with Juve: I told the Real president that I had already given my word to Andrea Agnelli.

Speaking of suffering: there have been some very difficult moments for you this season as well. You have always had the belief that Juve were stronger than how they were playing, I understand. It is true that we never talk about individuals, but are there any players of this Juventus who have surprised you positively?

A wonderful surprise was Danilo. He is a champion, a very intelligent, responsible guy who always puts himself at the team's disposal. We already know the Bonuccis and the Chiellini, but Danilo was truly a discovery.

But what did you tell Morata in January to make him stay in Turin?

The night the club caught Vlahovic, I called Álvaro and told him: "You don't move from here because now you become a much more important player with him", and so it was. Discussing Morata is technically crazy; it is normal that if you ask him to do things that he is not able to do he may not perform at his best, but let's not forget that he made himself available and played for months in a position that was not really his .

What about Vlahovic?

He is a young boy, with little international experience, who however has quality, wants and can improve, and has plenty of time to do it. In front of the door he has an absolute nastiness. Juventus made an important purchase: in the world he, Mbappé and Haaland are the strongest in circulation of their generation.

Just imagine how our team would be today if we never parted ways with Beppe and Max. I'm absolutely sure that we would be among the best 3 teams in Europe.

Say what you will about how Allegri likes to play. He knows how to build a team. I saw it with his Milan, and I saw it with his Juve. I see a lot of people complaining about his style of play. People want more attractive football they say. But after these last couple of years of experiment, I've seen the most boring football we've ever played. I'd much rather grind out and suffer 1-0 wins instead of useless possession and being vulnerable on the counter. Nothing frustrates me more than that. As I watched Roma-Lazio the other day I was reminded of that fact, and thankful our DNA is coming back to us. Winning, the only that matters. It doesn't matter how we go about it, it's about making sure of it. That's what makes this club special, and always has. We're the team that might not be the best in the world, but the best fear the most.

If a team scores a goal against us, especially in Italy, that's a fucking failure. And that's how we win the scudetto, always.

Fans speak like that as if other big continental clubs don't have the same "winning DNA" or share the same core values, in fact we can argue that juve's "winning DNA" has been gone from the continental stage due to repeated European failures in the past like 25 years, all that with an important distinction : only a very few successful teams takes pride in defense first, 1-0 win is enough philosophy especially amongst big continental teams...

Do fans realize that Chelsea, "a no name club before what, 2004" has equaled juve's cl success in less than 20 years since their rise? Things change and some things need to change, adapt... Or die.

Fuck what everyone else does. Be unique. A 1-0 win will always count for a victory so with this team, I'll take that with both hands. Forza Juve.

⚠️ Allegri:

Dybala starts tomorrow
As I said previously, with the club we are aligned. I give my opinions, the club explains me theirs and then we decide together.
(ABOUT DYBALA'S SITUATION)

Alex Sandro & Chiellini will start. About Zakaria I need to decide yet.

It's hard to say who's favorite in games like the derby d'Italia. Inter is among the 3 favs with Milan & Napoli.
GJustjuve, [4/2/22 5:18 PM]
Tomorrow I don't know the lineup yet. I don't think Danilo will be in the midfield. Also because the 4 midfielders will be available.

We don't play to make Inter lose the scudetto. We play for ourselves. Our objective is to play UCL next year.

47/50 days before the end of Serie A. We need to do the max to qualify in UCL and try to win the Coppa Italia

Dybala to Inter & Pogba to Juve?
I don't do the mercato at Juventus.. imagine if I would do the mercato of Inter or Manchester United.

Let's give Chiesa time instead of thinking about the future. We are far away from seeing him back. Of course we are missing him

We know how much Juventus is important for the property and how much they are doing for the club. John Elkann never missed to show his support. This year we all started together to build back Juventus and bring it again to the victory in the shortest time possible.

Next year will be 100 years of Agnelli's family at Juventus. This year we grew a lot but not enough in this moment to win. Next year we'll have to be ready at the start in the best possible way.
This is way these last 50 days are so important for next season. To reach UCL but also to grow in general. Now we will have only one game a week and this will allow us to work. and to work better.

Tevez at the stadium? I'm super happy to see him because he has been such a great champion. For Juventus but also for football in general. I trained a lot of champions and when I see them again I'm always emotional. They brought me so much.

I tell you something: If one of you guesses the linuep of tomorrow that means someone leaked it. It's impossible to guess tomorrow's lineup.

Bernardeschi as a starter? He is avaiblable. Could be a starter.

+++ END OF PRESS CONFERENCE +++

You know your coach is rotten when he still highlights Bonucci, Chiellini and Danilo. Some of the most conservative and outdated players in todays game.
