You mean Dybala playing with a CF/Ronaldo who occupied the CBs. Which has always been how he performs best. He literally gets bullied off the ball and disappears any time he’s alone up front. He’s not a lone striker, and we no longer have a goalscoring Wing/forward like Ronaldo.
Yup, Ronaldo known for occupying the CBs. Dybala has overperformed his xG INSIDE the box his *whole career* with Ronaldo occupying the CBs. :howler:

The fact of the matter is if the ball falls in a dangerous position, you want Dybala there not Morata. So if you cry about Morata missing chances then fix it and put Dybala there, if you're the coach. And he also has way more xAssists from INSIDE the box. Imagine that midget passing better than a real 9 :howler:

Ronaldo, Higuain, Mandzukic. He has always played next to a CF when he’s been at his best. Are you really this off your head about this rubbish right now? Yeah, I’m sure Dybala is going to get up and out jump CBs for headed goals, or get past them with his superior pace, athleticism and strength to score as a lone CF. :lol2:

Imagine thinking a weakling like Dybala was the answer at CF between wingers like Kulu and Bernadeschi. We’d have 20 goals on the season right now and be in the relegation zone.

It doesn't matter how Dybala is at his best because all that matters is what is best for Juve. And it's not Morata. But I'm sure I'll see you crying about Morata in the next match thread. :howler:

We had 0.35 xG which was the lowest of any team that played that day except Salernitana.

Giroud alone had 0.33xG on the FREE header he had that he passed back across goal. At least Morata was marked so he has an excuse.

McKennie misses a lot of chances but he also gets A LOT of chances when he's in the centre. So genius Allegri puts him on the flank. It's unthinkable. We have literally 2 CMs that can even put a ball on target and one is on the flank and one is protecting the CBs.

All this to maintain a nice, deep two banks of four to supply Morata who literally cannot be bothered to play right now. And then we blame Morata as if he wrote his own name on the sheet.

This coach takes a salary greater than the one we want to give Dybala and he makes no difference.
You make some really compelling points, but come on, give Max a full season before campaigning against him, he did turn around 15/16 f.e.

What a baby. Pathetic? Your crying every single match is pathetic. As is the 4-3-3 Dybala CF obsession. Lol
My obsession right now is Vlahovic in a 4-3-3 without Dybala OR Morata. Besides that then yes I would put Dybala there instead of Morata. I put the stats in your face, you ignored them. Dybala does more in the box than Morata. Always has even going back to Palermo. And he always will. He is a better player than Morata outside the box, inside the box, wherever.

Playing McKennie on the flank should be criticized. So I criticized it. If you want to stop missing goals then stop putting Morata in front of goal. Easy solution. If you don't like me pointing these things out then as I said, put me on ignore. These are not illegitimate points that I'm presenting in any way.

No he doesn’t. He scored 13 goals at Palermo. Yeah. That’s real prolific

And no, as a 9, without another Higuain, Mandzukic, Ronaldo to take CB off him he has never been prolific. He’s slow, he’s weak, he can’t jump. He outperforms his xGoals in the box because he has space in the box, made by the above players. If we had Chiesa and Salah on the wing, or some other pair of prolific wingers who can get into the box and help take some attention off of Dybala, I’d be all for it. But we don’t. Dybala vanishes when he becomes the focal point of our attack in the penalty. He gets bullied by CBs who are faster, stronger, and more athletic and those chances don’t end up at his feet, he no longer gets to them. I like Dybala, but he’s useless without a partner in attack.

So yes, your Dybala points are entirely illegitimate in my opinion. And in the opinions of his past 3 coaches. He doesn’t work well there.

Mate, you couldn't even remember when he played 9 with Sarri until I circled the fucking games for you. But you are entitled to prefer Morata there. Hopefully we just sign Vlahovic.

What on earth are you talking about? Of course he played a 9 of sorts under Sarri. But not really seeing as he dropped deep and behaved like the CAM/SS he has always been for Ronaldo. If you think he was playing the position of CF in those matches :lol2:

And you circled 8 matches on Transfermarkt he was listed as our CF. It was literally 20+ matches according to their line-ups. Because any time Higuain wasn’t on the pitch, Dybala was the de facto CF. But again, he wasn’t. He played as a support striker/CAM supporting Ronaldo. All year.

Put him as a 9 this year, and what are we gonna see, him dropping deep to spring Kulu and Bernadeschi free

yeah, in a typical 433 with Vlahovic you don't need Dybala, he's too slow to play on the wing.

Dybala is best suited to 352, then 4231/442. 433 is just CF and Allegri will never do that.

However, we will need to address that horrible midfield. Except for Loca all the rest are just runners. McBurger has good timing to get into the box, that's why I'd keep him.

No, we didn't play 4-3-3 every time. Sometimes without Higuain we would play that dog shit 4-3-1-2 with Bernardeschi or some shit at CAM.

There was only a specific set of matches where it was CR7-Dybala-Berna or Cuadrado. And the midfield was mostly the plumbers that we have now. I believe we lost only a single match of all those games.

So again my point is that it could easily be better for JUVE, not necessarily Dybala, for him to play there and for Morata to fuck off or play LW.

Surely now it's at least worth a try considering what we just saw from Morata. He has one foot out the door. Come on..

Likely better than any formation with Dybala. I would take that immediately.
This I agree with :p

And again, it doesn’t work with Dybala as a 9 without a Ronaldo type winger, who is just a box goalscorer pretending to be a winger. Dybala as 9 with Bernadeschi/Kulu/Cuadrado as wingers is just about the dumbest idea I’ve heard.
