The credit is completely Allegri's in my eyes. He puts Arthur on explicitly so Loca can get in the box and immediately who scores. The fullbacks are way higher, so high in fact that fucking De Sciglio is able to rip apart Roma.

Now my absolute consternation is the fact that we have to wait for our season to be on the line for this shift to occur when it's obvious that our level is much higher if we are more pro active.
Arthur and Loca played together in other games and it made no difference.

We won tonight only because Roma is horrible, this is their MO all season, giving up and melting down suddenly.

Why moaning you watched a great game we won end of the story.
Because I have not watched a great game. Nobody did. Live game thread was a funeral all but 7 minutes tonight. And as soon as we scored the winning goal we went back, conceded a penalty, got a red and risked a ton still.

There is absolutely nothing sustainable about tonight. Effort and waking up only when our backs were back to the wall has been a problem for years. Formation is not sustainable, melting down and playing down to competition is not sustainable.

You be happy if you want but I won't knowing that next slap in the face is just around the corner. Got excited and hopeful way too many times this season. Told story

I actually have watched a great match and I believe many others did. At this point when we are working hard to catch up to top 4, win against Roma is priceless. Considering we were trailing 2 goals behind the win is in realms of science fiction

Yes, in a vacuum it is a great moment, great game, great win, everything is rosy and peachy.

But in the long run until I see something sustainable this makes no difference unles you believe Allegri will stop with retarded setups suddenly, our players will suddenly show character all the time and we'll be playing Roma every week.

5 wins, 2 draws in the last 7 games. I see a progress here. We messed up in the beginning, which is haunting us now but at this pace we can hit 4th place.

agreed completely, and i'm shocked how we can't play regularly like we did in the last half an hour. there are some hurdles like arthur's physical condition or mds' availability, but the tactical approach must be used more often. sitting back against openly defending teams leads to nowhere.

Nah this is not progress we need to be like man city scoring goals for fun and destroying opposition high pressing off the ball movement. So many things is missing from our team.

Sarcasm? So many players are missing from our team. We dont have striker who can score consecutively, Chiesa is out injured again, our midfield although better than last season is far cry from other European teams.

We had what 8 wins in a row or something earlier in the season and then got slapped by Verona and Sassuolo. Then another nice run then Chelsea happens, then Atalanta happens, then Venezia happens, then Napoli happens etc.

I have zero confidence in the players and honestly my Allegri confidence is pretty shaken up after half a season of repeating the same mistakes.

You people want to blame management and players for the entire situation but cannot wait to pat them on the back for doing the bare minimum after so many disappointments before that.

Juventus didn't win 9 titles in a row by being inconsistent and lazy. Absolute worst traits in any aspect of life, including sports. Character is not coming back from huge deficits against shitty opposition, it is never allowing them the advantage at all.

He puts on Arthur because he's our only CM on the bench since Rabiot is a winger and the fullbacks are way high because we were losing 3-1. FIFA CPU would have made the same changes.

Well, I've seen him not make them before this season as well. So this is progress :howler:

The team has been badly constructed over the past few seasons so it will take more time to set things straight. You cannot compare this squad that barely made top 4 last year and its mentality with 9x winning champs, the team that smacked clubs like Real or Barca on their way to final. We have ups and downs, which was to be expected this season and Ive seen so many incidents this season which werent in our favor, bad luck. But this is going to even out over the course of 38 games so Im not gonna panic yet. Especially after pretty spectacular win. Instead I ll enjoy it ;)
