that's hard to put a finger on.

- we concede less, fact
- we score less, an other fact

my conclusion: we miss a goal scorer who can effectively replace ronaldo's goal tally
Squad and first 11 are short on goals for sure. Right now, not even a prolific goal-scorer can change Juve because the mids can't score at all. Dybala needs to stay injury free and start scoring, otherwise 2 goal-scoring players needed asap.
Also if Bernadeschi plays in front 3, probability of scoring goes down considerably. Should have played him in Rabiot's place like earlier in the season.

What’s this nonsense about Allegri only coaching ready teams or great players? He surely benefited from Conte’s work (Marotta’s too) when he took over, but that wasn’t the case with Cagliari and most definitely not with Milan who should thank him for their only league title since smart phones were invented.

True, Allegri probably wasn't the right coach to hire considering the current team. Defensively he's good, but offensively he lets players have freedom and doesn't believe in movements or attacking schemes. More of a 'let the players do their thing'. And since our players are not creative except for Chiesa and Dybala (and Dybala doesn't combine that much with others), we haven't lined them up often and when we do they are doing their own thing on their own. With the team we had back then stacked with quality it was possible to create, this one is a black hole.
That's not it, freedom he gives them is not the problem.

It is the lack of consistency in their roles. Chiesa literally played 3 positions yesterday. Dybala was a ST or CAM all season, yesterday played on the wing until Kulusevski came in. Rabiot is a LM all season, McKennie played RM for parts of the game yesterday etc.

These players need consistency, not to be thrown around every which way. Find a formation, find consistent roles and stick with it.

Nothing works upfront, consistency in roles or not, the attacking scheme we have considering our players just don't make sense.

Doesn't help that Morata is married to the grass, Chiesa despite being a hardworker tries to be a one man army and Kean is just not talented. But with some movements we would do better. Nobody moves when one of our players receive the ball then we backpass, it's retarded.

BUT I don't think a change of coach would do us good. No one would be interested. Hopefully Allegri finds a solution.

Again, no doubt that we have a weak squad. It's also quite important to stress out that we're financially pretty fucked up imo, which makes Allegri signing even worse considering his wages. Seems like wasted money. If everyone was aware he's not the right coach when it comes to rebuilding the squad I just wonder why we took him. What's the point of having a coach who can only work with great players? Getting to those great players seems like a long road for us.
Kind of agree with you there. I would have liked to have had ZZ as coach. But I'm not sure how he would have done with the trash we have here.

Zidane is available with a transfer budget of 200 million euros.

Juventus have scored 28 goals after 20 league games this season. The last time Juve recorded this scoring numbers under Ancelotti in 2000 (opta)

Check the whole package, he financially crippled the club with shit deals. Besides you have the audacity to bring up Kulu and Rabiot lol
Kulu has resale value, nothing audacious about a promising 20 year old who is still highly rated amongst other clubs

The story about Paratici leaving a piece of paper in a restaurant listing all the names of our transfer targets should of been a massive red flag to his incompetentence to our management.
Maybe it was done on purpose?

#Allegri was furious with the ref #Sozza after #JuventusNapoli for the short added time. It seems like the ref noted the incident on the match report and Max risks being disqualified for #RomaJuve

Allegri:

Tomorrow will be an important match, Roma have excellent individuals and a coach capable of preparing them in the best possible way. Competitiveness and technique will be key in this confrontation.

"My disqualification? Things that happen, no comments are needed. Tomorrow there will be changes, we come from a week of hard work, today I will evaluate the team at training."

"The midfield depends on the conditions of @federicochiesa, @fbernardeschi and @PauDybala_JR. Alex Sandro will be out, Pellegrini, @chiellini and @kaiojorgeramos will be back, but obviously they won't be in the best physical condition."

"Against Napoli we expected to win and get within two points of them, coming from a positive period, but we still kept the gap unchanged. We need to improve the quality of our passes, but we are growing. January will be important."

"@2DaniLuiz should also be available this coming week."

"I came here knowing it would take some time to get back to competing for the Scudetto. We could have done better so far, but it's a matter of experience, it's normal to pay for mistakes. In football things don't change in a short time, miraculously."
"We have many aspects on which to improve on and we have grown in many aspects too. It takes patience to build and find yourself fighting for the Scudetto again."

"@arthurhromelo is growing and still finding his best condition, so he will be an important addition."

"We work to improve our game and the quality of our finishing. We want to reach our Champions League goal, and then there are still many other ambitions. To win you need to have quality beyond technique, and it is only experience that teaches you that."

"We work match by match, and after all the direct match-ups, we will see where we are."

Tomorrow @Cuadrado will play, because Pellegrini doesn't have 90 minutes in his legs. On the other side we have @mattia_desci."
