Man snubbed Real Madrid for this. He must've seen something.
I’ll be honest here. Him choosing us over Real is the “safe” option. He knows we weren’t good last year, already knows the players, has good support from the fans, et cetera. Taking over Real is a huge risk. As seen by his football, Allegri hates stuff like that. He wants safety. Can’t play Locatelli, has to start a box to box player as treq, uses Danilo as a DM at home… it’s just who he is as a manager. Afraid to take risks.

What formation do we play actually?
Is it 4-4-2 with Dybala and McKennie top or
4-3-3 with McKennie and Chiesa as winger and Dybala as ST?
Tonight it started as a 4-1-2-1-2. It changed to a flatter 4-4-2 with Dybala dropping deep.

But honestly, it looked like a total mess at times. Players just seemed to go wherever, whenever.

It's the usual Max routine where he tries stupid shit at the beginning of the season. He'll sort it out soon.

The only issue is that our midfield is still AIDS in a monkey's ass crack.
We will end playing this IMO

Danilo De Ligt Bonucci Sandro

Locatelli Bentancur

Cuadrado Dybala Chiesa

Morata

So I listened to the post game interview. I agree with him on most points

- the team becomes too frenetic when something goes wrong, we can't allow that
-we are too impatient both on offense and defence (trying to win the ball back and losing shape)
-too often do players try to solve problems by themselves, we need to play more as a team
-we need to keep calm during the game when things don't go right, he said Danilo, Cuadrado, Bonucci did this (my feeling is that he's implying he wants more experience)

Only 8 months left to go. And unlike the last two managers I actually trust Allegri to figure it out. This team has picked up some bad habits the last year, two years, specifically losing their composure when adversity hits. At least Allegri has identified it.

And yeah, the roster still needs help. Id say Witsel/another 6 the most important. I still don’t understand why they haven’t targeted someone to challenge Sandro though. Telling me there isn’t one left back on the entire continent that can push the guy? Come on.

We just failed to organize, there is no game plan whatsoever. After Empoli's goal we just crumbled and can't play with the right mindset. Easily lose the possession, can't do the combination that really break Empoli's defense

We got some good combination once Locatelli comes on, but he clearly need a working team around him
- forward runs to utilize the through ball
- space opening players (decoy) to take defenders and create space for him to shoot from 2nd line or give the killer pass to that player if he is not marked properly by opponents defender. with this kind of player, opponent defender will have hard choice to make

With this kind of performance, Locatelli will have good great game but with no end results and that will be so frustrating for him

Really think we will in this dip form even against Malmo, that would be another embarassing like the Empoli game (believe me)
It will push our bid for knockout round hard as we can't pounce on the least team in the group
And the final nail in the coffin will come against Chelsea at 30 September, maybe it will become like ugly City - Arsenal match

I still think board will keep him because we don't have another option. Tuz will still worship him even the ship already sinking

This season will be a 6th position finish or worst, early exit in the CL. We will just skip this season early and make this as transitional season for planning to next season. But it will really hurt us because we can't attract the best talent without UCL, nonetheless in financial terms

If we can't afford Zidane while he is actually available, I will prefer to see what Gasperini can offer than this past glory coach (and call this as transitional season)
I want to see a new legacy being build, because on the paper we actually have some good/great players and young talents to build on
And I sincerely believe he is the right guy to elevate our players like what he does in Atalanta

We must first restore our organisation and just place two banks of 4 in defence. The rest can come later.

I hope he can fix it. Today was probably the worst game I've seen from a Juve coached by Allegri. All over the place. Everyone seemed to be doing whatever the fuck they wanted.

Joking aside, Allegri's motivational skills will really be tested this season. Its not just because the team is off a really bad season and off to a terrible start in this one.

Unlike some fans here, the players know that Ronaldo was on a different level and know exactly what he added to the team. To lose him right before the season starts with no proper planning on top of everything else... morale must be really down.

No one is talking about how this shambolic planning affects the players. They just lost their most effective player and also their leader. Allegri has to find a way to channel this into something positive. This is more than just a tactical challenge.

Allegri thinking few moves ahead of everyone with those weird player positions and formations, he is preparing for that cl final against man city - Pep will watch replays of our games trying to decipher our tactics and he will overcomplicate his strategy while Allegri will surprise him with a simple 4-3-3 with everybody on their preferred position and win us that cl trophy. 5d chess moves :max:

Worst post I’ve read on this forum in some time. Even worse than Snobist’s Sarri-worshipping nonsense and that’s saying something.
