Wow who pissed this guy off. After many posts about how god level Max is and was and that the club was fucking stupid to fire him, then you suddenly admit that last season was rubbish and it was valid to seek a replacement. So you agree with 90% of what I am, saying, still you need to throw around with your tough language.

This is a very biased and onesided review of our CL campaign, which was our biggest objective. We got trashed at home 3-0. Real thought they were already through. We were trailing 80-90% of that matchup, only when we equalized they started playing, and we started to pussy out. Calling my post idiotic and then in the same sentence showing such bias is quite pathetic. We were also almost nearly knocked out by Tottenham in the round before, were we just sneaked through despite being under heavy bombardment and looking dead until 64th minute of second tie. We had some problems that season too. I believe we can aim for better than those performances in CL.

Overall I would give Allegri 8-8.5 out of 10 for his time here. But mostly for his first seasons which were nearly perfect, but less so the last 2. And it is based on the most recent 1-2 seasons that I speak of the problems with Allegri. And who knows what he will come up with this time. We went from 2 random coaches to a top coach. Now we need the rest of the management to do their job and the players as well.

None of us had a problem with moving on from a burnt out Allegri and getting another top level manager to build on what he created. Turns out management instead went full retard and appointed two shit coaches, and it also turns out in hindsight that Allegri’s brilliance was masking a lot of serious flaws in the squad make-up. So perhaps we should have actually fixed the squad for him, as he was requesting at the time.

Yes the margins are small. Even against Ajax we eventually went out to a goal they scored from a corner. Of course Ajax deservedly went through and were the better team over two legs.

Perhaps he can, but changing doesn't automatically result in long-term improvement. That is an illusion people have. You can in your mind create this picture of something wonderful that has all the best characteristics without any flaws. Once you actually face the change the reality can be very different.

Also this isn't something that is only a problem for Juve fans and Allegri. Even currently there are Barca fans crying over Valverde's pragmatic approach. There are certainly some coaches like Pep and Klopp who aren't judged by the same standards that the likes of Allegri are because they play the "right kind" of football.

We don't. Why risk it when you already have someone who gets those results? We wouldn't have changed Conte to Allegri either if we weren't forced to. Thankfully we got lucky and that has not slowed us down.

Give Max what he wants and calma.

The fact that a clown like Di Mateo won it goes to show how much luck is involved in football, especially in a knockout competition and especially in a final which is only one game. So judging Allegri and Tuchel based on the two finals each played is idiotic.

Both are great coaches and even if we assume Tuchel is better that doesn't mean he is a better fit for us.

Allegri is a very good coach but I dont believe there is such thing as the best coach in the world.
Each coach has style and ability to use the relevant players.
Tuchel for example made it with Chelsea yet he didnt win with PSG. Then you look at their leagues and you see the opposite.
Conte is a master at motivating but his teams didnt do well in the champions...
Allegri relatively did well on both fronts but hasnt been able to bring to the trophy.
Zidane won the CL 3 times in a row yet this year he finished below Atletico whom are definitely weaker.

Dont get me wrong there are some managers I rate more than the others but no coach is the best coach in the world.
Allegri is a coach worthy of Juve Real Barcelona Bayern PSG but it doesnt mean others dont or cant do better, it doesnt mean they will do better as well.

Back in the days Allegri was the best for us.
2021? Im not entirely sure he is the guy we should have got but he certainly is someone who knows what he is doing and thats more than I can say on Pirlo and Sarri.
