Returning to old relationships often doesn't work out well. That's my concern
I can't say that hasn't crossed my mind as well.

On the other hand, his final season & subsequent departure never felt right to me to begin with. I never felt his work was really "done" at Juve, so it does feel great having him back. I'm pretty excited for next season.

Just sayin

Lippi's first spell was better. Mourinho at Chelsea. And who rold Zidane it was a good idea to go back to Real after everything he had won.

Maybe this time will be different
I’d argue Lippi’s second spell was equally good. I know we won a CL first time but that stupid Nedved booking stopped us from getting one in his second spell.

Who's imminent arrival excited you more: Ronaldo or Max?
I think Ronaldo was more exciting, because this was something none would expect until it was reported. The whole background, with Agnelli flying to the greek island etc. this cant be copied. Damn, I didnt work for 2 days when we were tracking these planes.

CR7 because it was unparalleled to any announcement this club has made in my time following it

Max's return is a safety blanket for me. It is something that should not have to happen because he should not have been fired in the first place. This instance is fixing a mistake.
