Having fullbacks like Cancelo and Spinazzola would have been a good start for what you suggest, and mids like Barella, Tonali, Zaniolo instead of Rabiot, Ramsey, Arthur. Basically you want a change and fresh start but you keep signing washed players and misfits. Just shows the management dont have any plan or direction
Agnelli might have a plan. But Paratici’s decisions are definitely concerning.

We were the better team against Barcelona in that final. If the ref called a clear foul on Pogba at 1-1 for a penalty we'd have won the game. I'd agree we need more luck but Allegri set them up perfectly to win that final, same with the first 45 against Real.

The problem was not the tactics but we faced 2 very good sides who many will regard amongst the greatest ever. The front 3 of Neymar, Messi and Suarez is still talked about and that Real team was legendary.

We were also missing Chiellini and Barzagli wasn't 100% fit for the Barca game. In Cardiff, Real were simply the better team and Allegi had little quality on the bench to change it.

Tactics were far from the issue on both occasions.
The first 45 against Real was suicide, we could have as well not played the 2nd half, Max obviously got it wrong there. It's not like he didn't know what our bench options where that night

Delio Rossi: “It seems to me that there is maximum confidence in Pirlo. I think that because Agnelli is the one who made this choice has estimated that he could not win this season since Pirlo has never coached before. I think Andrea will remain on the Juventus bench next year”
We had like 200 pages in this thread recently. It would be so devastating not to see him here. Even worse if we keep Pirlo or hire some mediocre coach.

No, Sarri Lost the dressing room. It was clear the players were not happy with him so there was no way in hell he could continue after the disasterous man management he had at Juve.

Sarri is a small team manager, he can't manage winners.

Juve Is All out of money, they went all in with Ronaldo to win the CL and then covid hit. Financially we are in big trouble so we can't spend much more money. Allegri is definitely the only option which makes sense now.
We went all in on a gutshot, lost and now we're now wondering what happened.

this seems accurate

It's one thing to fail to win the league and it's another finishing 4th, potentially 5th

I would love Allegri back but did you guys see Chelsea in CL? that's how modern football is played, they hardly concede a goal, put intense pressure all over the pitch, that is not Allegri, if he comes, we will sit deep and look for counters, I hope he is not a Mourinho, plenty of success in the past but didn't evolve, you won't win CL with defensive football, if we qualify of course

The aim of a final is to win it. Allegri won't win a CL without lots of luck. His teams don't press, attack with speed or take many risks. The attack of his teams is poorly organised and no patterns to the play.

He's a great coach and we won't get better than him with this management. He is excellent and one of the best at getting a lot out of average players and squads with holes in it.
We faced 2 of the greatest sides of the past few decades, while both had Goats in their prime. We infact opened up too much against Barca while searching for an equalizer, while had been denied stonewall penalty before conceding.

The last 2 years should have been indicative to you or any other Allegri hater, how awfully unbalanced this side is and what he has accomplished should have never been taken for granted. We fully deserve the shit we are in atm. String of bad decisions led us here, from failing to adress midfield issues, firing Marotta, Allegri, hiring Sarri and last summer Pirlo.

he’s a hater and a vocal advocate of Sarri and gasperini being superior coaches to max since 2019

Other sides have beat those same GOATs plenty of times throughout the years. So let’s just say Mr. Tactics lost those finals and be done with it already.

To be fair, at the time of Allegri’s dismissal it was only Bayern that had defeated them in recent years. I agree that we were outplayed in both finals though, especially the Real Madrid one where we were embarrassed in the second half. We gave up early goals in both finals.

Sure and we have beat them in some games as well but between 2015-2018 they won 4 CL in a row and trashed plenty of great sides on their way to finals, like Real's epic mauling of Bayern in Munchen 5-1, etc. Losing 2 finals while in both we were underdogs, shouldnt be an argument against him.

To really compare our CL losses you should look at the value of the starting 11 for both teams, everything makes sense then. We were heavy underdogs and no matter how good Vidal/Pirlo etc were neither were getting into Barcelona/Madrid stating 11s.

It is precisely why City and PSG are harshly judged because their investments are getting close to £1B, City only going to make their first ever CL final, PSG another exit.

Yes, we were underdogs. But I wasn’t happy with how we played in those finals at all.

Allegri lost 2 CL finals = loser. Sarri and Gasp have never lost a final. I rest my case.
So true. I recommend you pen a letter to the club voicing you disapproval of rehiring Max and instead to reinstate Sarri. Max clearly hasn’t paid the price of his fireable offenses that you mentioned. An example must be made and upheld. Your voice carries the weight of all Juventini. I’m confident management will heed your words mi amigo. God speed.
