I just don't see the point in hanging on to the past. Let the others have a voice. Maybe MDL doesn't want to play a defensive setup from 1997? But he can't say anything because of Bonucci, Chiellini, Buffon and Pirlo who are CLEARLY favouring a setup from their primes which absolutely does not work now.

I agree, but I rather keep Buffon and Chiellini, although in reduced roles. Chiellini is still our 2nd best CB, would be foolish to just toss him away, unless he wants to go. Buffon it's no big deal either way, if we have a replacement he can go

In someways Buffon is still better than Tek. I’d rather have Buffon as backup to any new goalkeeper.

Our current CM collection hardly fit any formation, 433 or not we still need to bring in 2 quality CMs. 433 with Ronaldo is not a 433, completely agreed on that.
