Tbf i don’t believe a word of it, seems like clickbait all the way, and i’m also quite sure if there was a time that he might have thought to ever even say that would have probably been sometime closer to present day.

So yeah, i’d say that article is the very description of bs journalism at its finest, they probably would have had grounds for at least a benefit of the doubt scenario if they’d have bothered connecting this ‘advice that he gave to Agnelli’ with their meeting when watching the game a few weeks ago along with recent months when we’ve been looking less and lesser like a real team but they didn’t even bother doing that much.

You think if he wasn't asking for that much it wouldn't be signed by now?
Thats not the point. The point here is assumptions and going by sketchy articles perceiving it to be facts and 100% truth. In Dybalas case there is a myriad of rumors, so one could just take your pick and believe what fits the narrative and use it against the player/coach in question. Simply take a deep dive in the Dybala thread to see that in action

The point is the Dybala rumor makes sense since the contract negotiations have been going on for long time and nothing has been signed. He earns 7.5m net now, a normal raise in case of extension would be in the 10m range. So common sense tells you that rumor makes sense.

Nothing Allegri has done or said would suggest the CR one to be true.

Again, not the point: that is simply justifying the rumor by using logic and perceiving it to be "making sense" from what is being served. A couple of days ago we just had conflicting reports that the 15 million mentioned was wrong. So who knows what exacly? Instead of using a fringe source and spending several months to bash a player with some unconfirmed articles, maybe rather conclude that the negotiations is halted for the moment due to negotiations like a reasonable person would.

Well then forums wouldn't exist and no one would ever have an opinion, just wait for things to happen.

I am just saying you cannot compare the two situations because if someone wants to be mad at Dybala about this they have a point considering all things and how long it is taking. Comparing that to the Allegri rumor makes no sense since:

- Allegri has said very different things publically
- Always liked the Ibrahimović/Ronaldo type because they win games
- Repubblica is extremely unreliable
- Timing of the rumor and the alleged 'advice' makes no sense either

Offcourse you discuss players and rumors on a forum, but jumping the gun and bashing players for several months and launching a crusade after speculative (speculative in terms of the actual amounts and money involved in Dybalas case) rumors is just stupid. At least get some real confirmation. I dont believe the Allegri rumors either, but if i did it is my conclusion, not a universal truth, and i certainly would not hate on him based on the article.

Other than that i highly suggest you go back in memory lane to see the things i am talking about when it comes to Dybala and the contract situation. Doesnt seem like you get the context and scope and its not simply a question of "being mad". It was basically being perceived as a certainty and used against him in every single way for several months. Only last week we got another source declining the amount that was being discussed earlier and telling a different story. Also the earlier reports were 15 mill, not the 10 mill you suggest which seems more reasonable
