It is a joke because she said in the beginning she became a Juve fan because of Gianni Agnelli, her whole family were bankers and she always looks at football more pragmatically, winning trophies at all costs etc. So they played a 'what would you do if you were making decisions for Juve tomorrow'.

She is a very well respected reporter, podcaster, analyst. She doesn't break news like GDM but seems reliable and this is the stuff she has been saying for years and is consistent with other rumors we've heard.
