Allegri believed that Dybla and costa could not make progress, and it would be better for other players to take their place(Max Nerozzi).

Massimiliano Allegri will leave Juventus at the end of the season. According to reports from Sky Sport, the coach wanted five purchases on the transfer market in addition to Aaron Ramsey as well as the sales of Joao Cancelo, Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, eventually, the line of Paratici and Nedved prevailed. A 'soft' line that does not want revolutions because it believes that the quality of the squad is already high. The Milanese paper reports that Juventus will make three purchases, one for each department.

Would love to know what kind of players he was interested in signing.

I'm guessing he wanted to make us more defensively solid all over the pitch and he was going to sacrifice our technical players to do this. It would secure us more Scudetto but we wouldn't of had the same kind of trouble in Europe.
I think his plan was always to not conceed and hope Ronaldo got us goals from nowhere.

I think Allegri likes technical adaptable players who are also willing to defend. Bernardeschi for example is very much a Allegri type player. He also valued Pjanic highly. This narrative that Allegri only likes defensive players with no technical ability is simply false.

Agnelli: "I will not answer any questions in regard to the next coach"
Thanks for that. So what exactly is the point of this press conference other than to laud Allegri?
Exactly that

Would be wrong to do anything else, this is to celebrate Max

Rightfully so
