Clubs line up for Allegri
Football Italia

There are several clubs linked with Max Allegri after his Juventus exit was announced, including Galatasaray, Manchester United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and PSG.

A statement released by Juve this morning confirmed that he would not be on their bench for the 2019-20 season, leaving a year before his contract was due to expire.

Several options have been mentioned for his future, including a return to the past with Milan, although that seems unlikely.

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are believed to be seeking new Coaches for next term after struggling in the Champions League.

Manchester United are starting to regret their decision to give the job permanently to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, so that role could open up again.

Tottenham Hotspur would be looking for a new Coach if Mauricio Pochettino were to leave, especially as Juventus are candidates for the Argentine’s signature.

Similarly, Inter have set their sights on Antonio Conte, but if he were to make the move back to Juventus, then Allegri could head to San Siro instead.

A new candidate is Galatasaray, an idea floated by Juve-focused reporter Andrea Montanari.

He was right gdm was wrong
He should go to PSG. Guarenteed domestic title, and they have massively underperformed in the CHL, so there is a good chance he could really take them to the next level.

We owe this man a debt that we will never be able to repay. He came in under the most unenviable of circumstances, and increased the level of our presence in Europe.

Nothing but an incredible amount of respect and love to this man.
We don't really owe him or any manager anything. He did his job and got a big paycheck for it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't care whether you and I live or die.

I'll always be grateful to him, Conte is the one who bring us the scudetto but he's the one who put us back as one of the European top clubs.

Grande Allegri and good luck to your future endeavours.

Legend and a gentleman. Didn't think I could love a coach as much as Lippi but he came awfully close.

Thank you for everything mister, good luck in your next stop (just please no Inter). Hopefully it's PSG so I can combine him, Gigi and Cavani :green:

Allegri: Never appreciated at Juve
Football Italia

Max Allegri arrived at Juventus in mid-July 2014 with pre-season already begun amid a hail of abuse, he left five years later with 11 trophies.

The tactician is under contract until June 2020, but the club confirmed in a statement today that he will not be on their bench for the 2019-20 season.

Allegri took over in odd circumstances, as after three consecutive Serie A titles, Antonio Conte suddenly announced two days into pre-season training for 2014-15 that he was walking away.

President Andrea Agnelli rushed to find a replacement and picked Allegri, who had been sacked by Milan in January 2014.

The car carrying Allegri and Agnelli to the training ground for their opening Press conference was attacked by fans, who kicked and spat at the vehicle during their furious protests.

The Livorno native won them over by reaching the Champions League Final in his first season, not to mention the Scudetto again and the Coppa Italia.

He went on to win 11 trophies on the Juve bench, including five consecutive Serie A titles, four editions of the Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups.

Allegri leaves with so far 269 competitive games under his belt, winning 191, drawing 40 and losing 38.

However, the early exit from the Champions League to Ajax in the quarter-finals and the seemingly negative approach to football irritated fans in recent months.

“I was just thinking, imagine if I hadn’t brought in a few trophies,” said Allegri in his Press conference last week.

“They’d have burned me at the stake!”

His departure is now greeted with a mixture of celebration and sadness, much like the moment he arrived.

Hes been saying Allegri wouldn't be staying from the beginning but why did it take 3 meetings between him and Agnelli before it was announced.?

I think they wanted him to stay but his demands were too much and Momblano just may of got lucky with this one.
Maybe. Anyone with common sense could make the right guess.

Either he has common sense (unlike many journos) or has good sources. Either way, well done given the field/competition.
